Why are people still leaving their kids in hot cars?

DEAR JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH! This should be the thing that NO ONE ever does! Like parking your car on a steep hill without the emergency break on. Maybe it should be in a drivers ed class and if you don't answer that question correctly you don't pass the test. No matter how many other questions you get right.

How many minutes can you safely leave a child in a car? None. You leave, they leave.

How many minutes can you legally leave a dog in a car? What must be done? roll the windows down and be right back. Don't know how long really but rush!!!!

They were showing security camera footage of a group of people breaking out a jeep's car windows because there were 2 kids inside with the window full rolled up in 90 degree weather, the mom was getting her hair done, no charges were pressed because they decided not to call the police.

Then they showed a guy getting arrested for leaving his 3 month old in the car while he went to court.

Last week it was a mom running in the store, and a cop happened by her car seeing her kid was locked inside, having to bust out the windows.

Seems like every week you're hearing about it. I don't remember ever leaving my kids in the car, I have vague memories of how uncomfortable it can get for even a few moments and I didn't want them to go through that. It's illegal now so I don't know why it seems to be happening more and more.

If I could have cats in my condo I would be a crazy cat person.

giggle You sound like me. I live in a condo, and I have four cats (even though I probably am only allowed to have one). shhh Don't tell the company that manages this place that I have four cats. I probably would have to get rid of them (which I could NEVER do).

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

You and me both. I did not pay all of last months rent so this is now a BIG issue for sure. I went to day for an interview for a work program but I have no clue if I will get it and really there is plenty of doubt that I will, yikes. The work program was free of charge.
