Post something you did recently that you are proud of

It's "pat yourself on the back" time. Name something you did recently that you are proud of yourself for doing, even if its the smallest thing that doesn't matter to anyone else but to you.

1) Last week, someone brought in a cookie in the break room at work for anyone to take which I normally would have eaten for a snack since I'm a sucker for sweets. I instead left the cookie there and ate an apple as a snack.

2) A new Krispy Kreme location has opened up in my neighborhood and I didn't bother going to the grand opening for a dozen of donuts.

3) I went to the gym two days in a row doing strength training and cardio spending about an hour and some change working out without realizing it.

4) I decided not to eat a pack of crackers last night after dinner and went to bed instead.

5) While doing laundry this weekend, after my clothes were dry, instead of dumping them in the guest room to deal with another day, I folded them and put them away immediately.

Your turn!

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Made a wall display in the shape of a castle for our topic Knights & Castles, displaying all the kid's ancient diary entries. They were Lords of a Motte & Bailey Castle. Display looks kinda good. smile

Instead of ordering a Papa John's pizza today and their 8" chocolate chip cookie, I instead made some homemade oatmeal cookies for dinner. biggrin Saved pennies and fat all in one day.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I arranged for an eight-week apprenticeship opportunity at my company for an intellectually challenged student preparing to enter the local job market.

I give tours a world-renowed museum. I found out that someone who went on my most recent tour called the museum the next day to tell them how much he enjoyed my tour and what a great job he thought I did. biggrin

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I haven't done it yet, but with a little help, I hope I want to gather as much signatures as possible, in order to let the Dutch government know they can't get away with silently aproving GMO food in Europe.

So, please share this on your fb and in what ever way you can:

Do you only have one brand over there? confuse

Once the US acquired the UGG AUSTRALIA company they trademarked the word ugg.
But in Australia and New Zealand ugg boots is a generic term, like "sneakers".

We have many brands of uggs here and being that UGG is a foreign owned company, we don't buy them if there is a more Australian alternative. nana

I believe we have one brand of ugly uggs, but I'm sure there are plenty of knock offs. giggle

a few things:

i recently finished the 5 play cycle i have been writing for 6 years, got a producer, and have started casting.

i am working on getting my ex-bf/now best friend to finally leave his boyfriend of 5 years who has become a terrible meth addict.

the other night, said best friend took me out to dinner at a very fancy resteraunt. i got a stuffed chicken breast with cheese and prosciutto, but only ate half. on the subway ride home, a homeless person got on. i could instantly tell she was not a con artist, based on her clothing and the fact that instead of asking for change, she was asking for food. i gave her my expensive and delicious chicken my friend treated me to. she opened the bag, saw what was inside, and kissed the plastic lid.

i didnt cry about it till i got off the subway.

i was nice to an orger that drives me batshit crazy with horrendous behavior.

new add to my list:

just got off the phone with an old friend whose oldest son discovered masturbation and ejaculated for the first time yesterday. he told my friend (his dad) about it last night and how he thinks he might be gay.

was able to give the friend a lot of advice on giving proper sex-ed to his son, and the specifics of gay sex-ed (given the possibility he might be gay), as well as showing my friend all the ways he handled it perfectly without prior help from me.

felt really good to know my friend respected me enough to ask, and that he is such a good father who became an ally to gay folks over the years since we were kids.

made me really proud of him, and i was proud to be a help in it.

You can. If you're interested, here's a prayer of deliverance that you can pray over yourself. It covers many areas of life (very well written) and should be earnestly prayed with a humble, contrite & repentant heart before the Lord.
