I think part of the issue some men have with a woman having many partners is they feel that she can't be trusted to be faithful or serious with them. Doesn't matter if this promiscuity happened when she was totally single. Doesn't matter if she has also been in something serious and did not cheat. It's really weird to have a mentality that a someone is suddenly less deserving simply because of their sexual partner count.

Maybe some men feel insecure about having to compare to other lovers.

No its not that. But when we break it down menare sexual predators n women r sexual prey.

Now if a woman has had over a certain amount of partners it may indicate that she is either a predator or enjoys being prey just a little too much for a man to find her desirable.

She has to run away more from those predators.

And if she is a predator herself, well that's just common.

as a dude - i think what I am trying to say is this : I dont think it should matter - but I do think it does matter !

if a dude sleeps with too many - same thing (in my eyes). While i envy his sexual prowess in some way i guess - I do think it shows a lack of something .... well on a basic level - i would say it "may" show a lack of self image ...

i realize everyone is different . but sleeping with alot of people in a year just opens up alot of issues for a person ... not just health wise - but also the way others percieve you ...

i am no psychiatrist and - really just talking this thru ... i am not trying to throw stones at anyone - i just think that some people would have an issue with how many girls i slept with too ...

i came to sexuality in the '60s

and even then there was a qwestion as to

how many girls i had been with.

that qwestion 'then' was a qwest for amunition

to use in furutre (already bein planned) argument.

in the eighties, it became a matter of health to know

avoidence of sickness bein a factor, it is a gauge
