J D Salinger documentary on pbs FASCINATING .
I never knew much about him at all .
I watched the whole thing and now have to read more about him .

I only saw the first half hour and then my dvr kicked in so I couldn't watch that channel. But what i saw was fascinating. Never knew he was working on Catcher while serving overseas. And never heard about him being involved with Oona O'Neil before she married Charlie Chaplin. | |

the ending was fascinating for me too - he wrote alot ... and when he died it left a large "trust" that will start publishing his works starting like in 2015 ....
