Sly Stallone pretty pissed with Bruce Willis and replaces him in "Expendables 3" with....

Sylvester Stallone Attacks Bruce Willis Via Twitter, Announces Harrison Ford Casting in Expendables 3

Lily Harrison, eonline

Sylvester Stallone is definitely not holding back his feelings for hisExpendables costar Bruce Willis any longer.

The film's head honcho took to Twitter to announce some recent casting news and to vent his frustrations about the Die Hard actor.

"WILLIS OUT… HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!"

Well, then.

Willis appeared in the first two Expendables films alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and many other actors, but apparently has left the successful franchise on not-so-happy terms.

Shortly after Stallone announced that Ford was joining the cast for the third flick, he posted a (not so subtle) hint about what lead to the end of the actor's involvement with the films.

"GREEDY AND LAZY …… A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE," Stallone wrote . Stallone's rep confirmed to The Huffington Post that the tweet was indeed made in reference to Willis.

Production for The Expendables 3 is slated to begin later this month with Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich joining the star-studded cast.

The film is expected to hit the big screens on Nov. 15, 2014 and will undoubtedly be another massive hit.

He does seem a bit irritated during some interviews. I'm chalking it up to his patience meter is running on fumes.

This movie is going to be SO FREAKING GREAT! I know I said that about "The Expendables" and it was horrible. And I know I didn't say that about "The Expendables 2" and it was AWESOME.

But I am not afraid to put it out there. This movie will ROCK.

nod I agree 100%. I hope that with Wesley in, they can go ahead and take Terry Crews out. Sorry but Terry is just corny (in the movie) to me. shrug

That's what I'm thinking too. I saw the interview where he was sarcastic as hell to the interviewer and looked like he wanted to take the mic and hit him in the face with it...but this has been the only time where I've seen or heard of Bruce being a total ass. Normally, Sly isn't negatively vocal in the media about his collegues so for him to speak out on it must speak volumes. hmmm

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I've seen him doing some interviews with my boo, during RED (the first) and he was a mess sometimes, not to my boo but to the interviewer, especially with foreign interviewers, do not ask him stupid questions lol no patience at all. But if he's rubbing Sly the wrong way, someone who has had decades of experience in Hollyweird, just like Bruce, then you got to wonder.

I liked the Expendables, both of them, I liked Crews, cut him a break he technically isn't an ole skool action star like the rest of them, he's has done more comedic things, I think. I'd love it if both he and Snipes were in the movie.

Oh okay, I just never heard ole Bruce being rude in interviews before, but in all honesty, doesn't everyone get irritated when they are asked stupid questions? Just sayin'. biggrin

I loved the action in both but thought the lines in the first one were more cornier than in the 2nd one. Hey, if you like Terry, then hoorah, great, I have no quarrels with that, but for me, if he weren't in the movie, I wouldn't miss him.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

w-o-w eek

I mean, Harrison Ford in the Expendables!, yeah I know he was (IS) Indiana Jones and Han Solo (icons of the adventure genre), but I thought he was a bit grumpy/elitist for a project of this nature ("brainless-meat & potatoes" action movies)

anyway, great news, Ford RULES, grumpy/older or not

Willis? it's kinda sad watching him and Sly on bad terms, but his role in this franchise had not much left to say after part 2 (same for Arnold, I don't know if he'll be back for part 3 lol), and "somehow" I think he's actually greedy, lazy and...arrogant

Harrison Ford...Wesley Snipes...Nic Cage (of whom I predict will overact his heart out lol)...Milla...Jackie Chan, FUCK YEAH, The Expendables 3 is gonna be epic (and hopefully with an improved script, now that "respectable" actors have joined in)

---

Steven Seagal, Matt Damon, Vin Diesel, Sam Worthingto, Chow Yun Fat, Michelle Yeoh, Kurt Russell, Mel Gibson and Michael Biehn are the only ones left...maybe Treat Williams, Colin Farrell, Rob Lowe or even Pierce Brosnan (why not) as well...

other actors that could appear (unlikely, anyway)

Christian Bale

Clint Eastwood

Lawrence Fishburne

Keanu Reeves

Sigourney Weaver

Carrie Ann Moss

Samuel L.Jackson

Ewan McGregor

Hayden Christensen

Billy Dee Williams

Tommy Lee Jones

Linda Hamilton

Jamie Foxx

Gary Busey

Mr.T

Halle Berry

Tom Cruise

Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie

Danny Glover

Clive Owen

Daniel Craig

Michael Keaton

Val Kilmer

Antonio Banderas

Steven Seagal - No thank you

Vin Diesel - Maybe

Sam Worthington - I could see him in the movie

Clint Eastwood - No thank you

Samuel L. Jackson - Hmm, even though I love Sam Jackson, somehow, a movie with him and Sly doesn't seem like it would work well. But who knows.

Hayden Christensen - I could see him in the movie

Tommy Lee Jones - Naw, no thanks.

Mr. T - Would love to see him in it, perhaps he could make things fun.

Clive Owen - Yep, could see him in the movie

Daniel Craig - Not too sure he would actually sign on for something like this.

Carl Weathers - Ha! I don't think poor Carl would get past salary negotiations first in order to be in this movie. You know his arrogant ass would probably request 1 million despite the fact he hasn't been a popular movie star in nearly 2 decades.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Vin Diesel was in 2, didn't he die? So he's out.

Val Kilmer might be a good choice.

Mr. T would be an interesting choice too.

Carl Weathers, I'd love to see in a movie again, but if he has too many issues, oh well too bad.

Most of the others, I don't think at this time would fit in to this kind of thing for one reason or the other.

I associate the Expendables franchise as a vehicle for older, once-hot actors in the action genre.

IMO -

  • Vin Diesel is too recent
  • Keanu Reeves is not "action" enough
  • Sam Worthington - still wet behind the ears
  • Hayden Christensen - aw hell no!

MR T would be PERRFECT. Carl Weathers probably needs the income, and he was "Action Jackson" so definitely fits in.

Val Kilmer? Only if he hires a trainer, and only as a villain.

Sorry, I got my folks very mixed up. Sue me. cool

Okay, now that I figured it out, Vin's too busy finishing up his Riddick stuff (about time) where he's the center of it all so no, he'd have to share too much star time.

What is with Willis? in most interviews he come soff as an ass! and he told Kevin Smith he hates people that talk about Die Hard eek

I heard he also likes to be a backseat driver with directing and challenge the director to do what he wants or he will ''quit'' lol

Funny thing is he has never defended himself at all... maybe he just accepts that he is hated.
