Has anyone seen the ill-fated 2011 Wonder Woman TV pilot? They dropped the ball on most aspects of production, but the action sequences weren't sooo bad. In fact, the bullet-deflecting sequence was every bit as dynamic as those from the '70s show.

I saw parts of it but no way could I make it through the whole thing. biggrin I think the actress who played her was not at all the right look for Wonder Woman. It's a shame that the opportunity to do a WW show was wasted.

I was torn on the casting and characterization of the character. I found Adrianne Palicki entirely unsympathetic as Diana -- and her exhausting tough girl shtick came off more as urban bully than champion. I also thought she had zero chemistry with her love interest, who incidentally came off as a little boy beside her.

But it's a tough role: Diana is much tougher in the books now than she used to be. Yet she's still got to come off as compassionate and open to the vulnerability that comes with being in love. I don't envy the task of any actress tapped to play her. And like OldFriendsforSale , I'd also like to see a Greek actress play her.

Don't worry, though. There's too much fan pressure to see this project fulfilled for it just to never happen.

I vote for Hawk Girl .. she is complicated .. natalie portman could play her .. she is lying the whole time she is in justice league .. dr. fate could make an appearance .. and she's got those wings .. so none of this 'secret identitity' crapola.

How about her taller twin "Keira Knightley" to play Hawkgirl

WonderWoman

Greek mythology, 'Independant Woman' cultural status

Great supervillains, Great costume, many other 'wonderwoman' wondergirls etc

just get a real Greek woman to play the part, with an accent

Her bathing suit would look silly on the big screen. Joss Whedon had the right idea on updating her look, by adding battle armor (sort of like Thor's).

I'll tell who needs his own movie - LUKE CAGE, HERO FOR HIRE!

There was a Ultraman movie remake not too long ago,

Though I would like to see another one. Especially with Ultraseven.

Luke Cage should be in The Avengers 2 and then have his own solo movie.

Actually, I prefer a Luke Cage movie set in 1970s Harlem, with the clothes and slang of that era. That would be badass.

Wonder Woman has to be portrayed by someone badass - tall, muscular but still feminine.

ANTMAN

Supposedly it's been greenlighted

Ant-Man is a movie now in Early Production and the twelfth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be the first film in "Phase 3"

full story HERE

Some Antman test footage was shown at the last Comic Con. I would post a Youtube link, but Marvel keeps taking them down. You can view the video here:

I would most like to see a Dr. Strange and Black Panther movie. Dr. Strange looks to be coming during Marvel's 3rd phase movies. There were some rumblings about a Black Panther movie, but nothing seems to be confirmed yet. The rights to Daredevil have now reverted from Fox Studios to Marvel Studios so it wouldn't be interesting to see a Daredevil movie done right.

That's not sexist. All the men in 300 went into battle half-naked too.

Take any of the WWE Divas.

"Victoria" for example...

Her wearing pants and being a lawyer ruined it.
