in the last few years i've got intolerant to alcohol.

not all drinks affect me, & it doesn't stop me from having a bevvy. i can tell from one sip if i will react! i just flush up, face & neck go soooooo red like a scald & i burn up. it's not pleasant but it passes after a few minutes, i just order something else

as for food, trying to avoid processed stuff, bread especially & i do have more energy

sherry is the next big thing, you can buy super old vintages for real cheap. prices will go up when everyone gets hip. buy your sherry now. craft drinks are more the thing atm, Im glad, im so allergic to those fake mixers and a bartender who doesnt know how to make an excellent drink.

I go to this wine place, the guy is from france and he has the best of everything stacked to the rafters, he's always on short trips to spain, france etc. he is super excited about sherry and is opening up a sherry bar.

Expensive.

The cost of food is rising so fast that it actually shocks me. Never in my life until the last few years did visibly notice that prices were rising so quickly, and fluctuating so widely.

Health wise, obviously food affects the human body. The thing is, different foods affect all people differently, and some people will live their entire lives without ever noticing how food affects them. For me, I've been a healthy eater for a long time, so I don't really notice much immediate affect after eating. But I can tell over a longer period of time if there's something I usually eat regularly that I've been slacking on (like, greens, or berries).

Exercise is the thing that I notice. And it hit me almost EXACTLY as I turned 40. Before that I could just do whatever I wanted without getting sore or doing much stretching before hand. Now I get sore when I exercise and stiff when I don't.

PIG is going to be expensive and is going to drive the cost of things up even more.

People who like bacon will find it out of the budget.

Bacon has already become exorbitantly expensive compared to what it was a few years ago. Smaller packages cost twice as much. Pork in general has not gone up at the same rate as bacon, which is weird.
