I heard on the news the other day someone named their kid Taquawndera or something to that effect. I'm like WTF???!!! How can you tell whether that's a male or a female by the name? "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

A month or two back, I read a story online about a couple who named their newborn daughter "Hashtag". WTF? Who names their kid "Hastag"? Are they going to call her "Hash" for short? I feel sorry for her when she starts school. Kids are going to pick on her because of her weird name. Kids have a tendency to pick on anything that seems different to them.
Here's the link to the story:

A girl I work with had a baby back in October. They named her Wynter. Not sure if I like that name or not. It's different, that's for sure. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I knew a guy named Richard Head.
He was a successful insurance agent but drank himself to death. I always figured his name had something to do with that.

I knew a girl back in school whos parents were Dick and Rosie Thies. Depending on how you prounounced the last name you had Dick Tease or Rosie Thighs. Unfortunately her name was Paula. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

There is a memorial bridge in North Carolina, called the Peter Guice Memorial Bridge.
I kid you not: http://www.guice.org/pgmbnara.html
AND what is wrong with the name, Dakota?
I named my son, Dakota. It means friend or ally. I have found the name to be wonderful and it fits my son very well.

Some people wanted to be "creative" is my best answer to this.
Then again I got as much of a problem with people who rename themselves to a Bill Cosby soundalike sound effect:
