I just bought the chicken and waffles chips this weekend. The dominant flavor is a light maple flavor. Besides salt, that's all I really taste. I also got the sriracha too. I guess I would have just called that "hot sauce flavor." I liked them better than the chicken and waffles flavor. I didn't eat too many though. Lays chips are so greasy, I always end up with a stomach ache.

I was interested in trying these chips, but more than one person has said that they taste like syrup and salt disbelief that's not really the type of flavor I'm looking for

I bought both the Chicken & Waffles and the Cheesy Garlic Bread chips this weekend to give em a try. The Chick N Waff tastes just like chicken and waffles. First thing I tasted was the waffles, and then I started tasting the chicken flavor. It was very interesting. As for the Cheesy Garlic bread I tasted the cheese and the garlic. Not bad, but I dont plan to finish off the rest of the bag. Taking them in to work tomorrow so my coworkers can finish them off. I wish we had a Roscoe's Chicken N Waffles in my area! Sounds great and I would love to try it!

Yeah, it has a syrup and salt flavor with a dash of chicken flavor added. Its odd tasting but I'm sure it will work for some folks lol

I've eaten at Roscoe's House of Chicken n Waffles maybe 2 or 3 times in my life, and never quite "got" what the big deal was all about. Now, I like chicken okay enough, and LOVE waffles, pancakes, biscuits... anything that goes with syrup. Nevertheless, the combination of the two (Chicken/Waffles) always seemed like an odd pairing to me. Not distasteful, just odd.

Ive never had chicken and syrup but its basically chicken strips and honey right? I don't think its that odd of pair specially with the seasoning on the fried chicken and the sweetness of the syrup. Sure its not good for ya, but that a different thread.

That being said I dont think I would want a bag of chips tasting like that. confused

I haven't seen these in the stores here, of course I really haven't looked but I would think something like that would stand out to me. Granted, I'm not doing any kind of chips right now, it's a weakness preventing my from moving forward in my goal, so I'll take all y'all's word for it whether they're good or not.

People eat sausage, eggs, ham and bacon with waffles, is chicken really that hard of a stretch, granted, fried chicken isn't quite considered breakfast food to most people, but we know people eat chicken fried steak for breakfast, you know pancakes and waffles had to enter the picture somewhere.
