Thanks for the update! I'm going to check out Lucky's as well today.

when last i posted about this, i was on the lookout for the sriracha and garlic cheese flavors, as i had already had the chick/waffles. i kept looking and looking, but days went by and my ralphs continued not to have them.

one day, they had a promotion where they gave away all three FOR FREE, bet. 4-8 pm. of course, i found out about it after work, and by the time got there at 7, needless to say they were all gone. i'm guessing they probably ran out around 4:15.

FINALLY, last weekend they had a very, very small display of the sriracha and garlic cheese - no chick/waffles, but i didn't care since i had already had them.

my rating: sriracha, chick/waffles, garlic cheese.

i would put the sriracha way ahead of the other two. i liked the chick/waffles, thought they captured enough of the flavor as i wasn't sure they could.

the garlic cheese was okay, but kinda had a weird after taste. they were fine, but kinda off. if i had to buy any of them, again, the sriracha.

lastly, like last time, after i had my serving, i brought the bags into the office to put in the kitchen. i put them there at 9:15 am. i went back at 9:45. sriracha, gone. went back at 10:30. garlic cheese, gone. TRIFLIN!

Strike one Luckys!!! I saw every other flavor under the sun but those three.

all i've seen here in l.a. are the big bags. i was looking for a small bag, but had to get the big 'un. fortunately my ralph's supermarket was running a special. i think i'm going to pick up the cheesy garlic and sriracha ones tonight. i'll report back, esp. to tell you how long it takes for my TRIFLIN' co-workers to be all over them!

I got some triflin' co-workers who I swear to bob don't even taste what they shovel into their mouths. They just inhale anything anyone puts out.

As long as they taste better than them nasty ass Salt and Vinegar chips then I'm down....

Seriously though at first glance, the ideal of a chicken and waffles flavored chip sounds at worst racist and at best a what were they thinking moment.

After thinking about it though, i don't really have a problem with it. Lays has a variety of flavors and a chicken and waffles is just one more. I would suggest that they remove the drumstick and waffle on the bag AND they most definitely shouldn't solely market them in urban neighborhoods...

Only marketing them in black neighborhoods would be racist.
