'Gay' Dog Saved From Euthanasia

I must say, I'm speechless. This nutso should be banned from owning ANY pet, even a goldfish! disbelief

A white bulldog named Elton, who was left at a shelter because its former owner thought it was gay, was saved from euthanasia thanks to an Internet campaign that went viral.

The Facebook message, posted by Jackson, TN Euthanasia, read:

"This guy was signed over to RC, not bc he's mean or bc he tears things up, but because ... His owner says he's gay!” the post read. “He hunched another male dog so his owner threw him away bc he refuses to have a "gay" dog! Even if that weren't the most assinine thing I've ever heard, its still discrimination! Don't let this gorgeous dog die bc his owner is ignorant of normal dog behavior! He's in kennel 10L and he WILL be put down tomorrow bc there is no room at the inn!"

Veterinary tech Stephanie Fryns from Jackson had seen the bulldog on an adoption site long before the campaign went viral online and ended up adopting him. Elton is living with Fryns and her four other dogs.

huh?

I've known people who have pets who in some cases seem to act like they like the same sex, try to hump the same, and ignore the opposite sex. At least with dogs. Actually, it's happened in animals under study too.

Dude, that's because animals don't give a fuck. They fuck anything that moves and even so they move on to fuck dogs they know are female because they only try that shit once. Nature gets them aroused. Humans, we're a bit of a different animal. We're the ones that put names to it in the first place.

I hope you're not trying to seriously argue with that kind of logic! Maybe you're kidding.

In the case of these animal studies, its academically classified as homosexual behavior. Read up. It's even affected a supreme court ruling... animal homosexuality. Here's the Cliff Notes:

It's classified as homosexual behaviour because some people can't seem to understand that animals lack a sexuality. It doesn't matter what animal you research, sooner or later you will find it behaving in acts with the same sex. Who knows how many times it's gone under the radar with non-mammals and birds

Yeah animals just don't give a fuck. Least some will fuck whoever roams nearby. Animals always fuck each other. There's nothing really expected. Like they're not told they can't cheat, they're not told they're "gay" or any of that. Only humans have made a big deal about sexuality. Animals don't really have to worry about that but we often have to worry because we've created a worriness about it. Animals don't have to do the things humans are sometimes forced to do, like not engage in their own sexuality. I say let an animal be an animal. Who cares? Least they moved that dog somewhere else...

When I lived in the states I had 3: my cat Beethoven was hopelessly gay & I coulda cared less.

One of my Family photographer friends thought it would be cute to keep him dressed in a very very clean super white tee shirt, and was always trying to get me to let him photograph Beethoven in little black doll size combat boots....that was the casual look that was in at the time for The Kids on South Beach dead . I miss my damn cat. neutral

Back in the 1990s, I had two doves and one of them was straight and the other was gay. I had them for years and when I first bought them, I thought I was buying a male and a female. They never laid any eggs or anything so I just figured they must not be interested in each other. That wasn't the case though because one of them would be behind the other one going up and down like he was bowing and he would coo. The other dove would ignore it and go to the other side of the cage like a woman that doesn't want to be bothered. Then the dove would get pissed and jump on top of the other's back sometimes and the other one would try to fight him. I just happened to be watching a documentary one night on how to tell the difference between males and females. I can't remember if it was from the beak or the feet, but anyway, it turns out both of them were male. They had been up in that cage together for years and here's one trying to get some from him. I bet he felt like he was in a prison rape. lol
