My daughter is once again competing in Rodeo Rockstar! As you may recall, she got third last year (but was CLEARLY the best, LOL). This year, she moves up a category and my 16-year-old daughter is competing against people as old as 21.
The first round consists of internet voting. There are 28 contestants in Sydney's division, and the top 10 vote-getters advance to the Semi-Finals, where they perform live and are scored by 3 music industry professionals. So, THE VOTE IS THE THING!
Click the link below, then select the tab for "Youth ages 16 to 21". There will be three pages of videos. Sydney's is titled "Better Dig Two" (a great song by The Band Perry). Please click the "VOTE" button, and then confirm your vote.
You can vote once per day per computer so if you're inclined, take over all the computers in the office and VOTE THIS GIRL IN! Voting starts today, January 25th and continues until midnight on MY BIRTHDAY, FEBRUARY 10th. Is that a good omen or what?!?

The Rodeo website said a couple days ago that over 145,000 votes have been cast in this thing. I have no idea where we are in the standings. But I DO know that every vote counts.
