It's a mess and the media seems to be avoiding the real issue regarding this... which probably shouldn't surprise me but it does.

That he was probably terminated for telling the truth? I guess the media figures, after he's laying in a pool of his own blood it'll go back to ssdd with a lot of casualties that's what's messed up.

What exactly did he say? Why did he get terminated? It's pretty much he said, they said right now. I understand if cops did something wrong, but to shoot someone to prove it. REALLY? REALLY?!

He's not shooting people to prove anything. He is shooting for vengance.

From what I've read he had evidence. Tapes, DVDs, witnesses, etc. He sent a package to Anderson Cooper.

he went where a 'street thug' dared to go.

drop the shit on the doorstep of the ones who shit on him.

wars are faught over less and many people die (i.e. weapons of mass distruction) to prove it.

it's sad that this is goin on, HOWEVER, the man sees this as his only way of bringin light to his issue

on a level that will eventually be beyond lapd's sphere of influence, and bringin pain to the hearts of his offenders (in a way of thinkin) could make them want to fess up to some shit, clearin dude name (post mortum)

The second incident occurred at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street about 5:45 a.m. and involved Torrance police. No injuries were reported.

Officials say both vehicles matched the description (they sure look different to me) confuse of the suspect vehicle. Police have confirmed that the occupants of the vehicles are not related to the Dorner case.

The description of Dorner's vehicle has been changed since earlier reports and is now described as a gray 2005 Nissan Titan pickup, California license plate 7X03191. The license plate may have been switched to a plate with the following number: 8D83987.

Christopher Dorner: A look at the man behind the mayhem

By Sandy Mazza, Mariecar Mendoza and Tracy Manzer Staff Writerseveningsun.com

This undated photo released by the Los Angeles Police Department shows suspect Christopher Dorner, a former Los Angeles officer.

The final straw for Christopher Jordan Dorner grew out of a relatively minor arrest outside San Pedro's DoubleTree hotel nearly five years ago.

Dorner and his training officer were called to the well-manicured hotel because a scruffy, angry, mentally ill man would not leave. Together, the Harbor Division officers grappled with the man in a bush until he was shot with a Taser gun and submitted. But the pair differed in their versions of what happened that morning.

The discrepancy became an obsession for Dorner, who claimed his training officer brutally and unnecessarily kicked the man in the collarbone and face. His intense feelings about that incident are the core of the lengthy, stream-of-consciousness manifesto he wrote to explain why he embarked on a killing spree - complete with a 40-person hit list.

In the 14-page manifesto (written in the parlance of a police report), Dorner directly addresses "America," and describes himself as a heroic figure rendered helpless by a series of racist attacks that began when he was a first-grade student at Norwalk Christian School in Norwalk, when another student

hey, imo this is some serious bad stuff for those who have been stuffing away the truth via untrue reports acting upon, case closed and filed away as the truth.

the killing is bad and not justified.

i guess truth is a gaggle of lies when hidden too log will manifest it self in to a huge zit like creation and sooner than later will pop open. the poison paperwork will scatter out everywhere.

or another analogy:

skeletons in the closet are coming out!

in this case it may be more like lighting up a bone yard of past lies.

i'm all for the honest cops. nod

the dis-honest or lying cops are the ones that create the insane craziness.

(imo the shooter christopher dorner needs to be stopped. maybe and hopefully he will be able to orchestrate his arrest, and the aresst will be in front of the news media. i hope he will turn his-self in real soon. i truly do.)

The two women who were mistakenly shot by LAPD officers searching for triple murder suspect Christopher Dorner Thursday said they had no warning beforehand, the victims' lawyer told CBS Los Angeles.

Attorney Glen Jonas said Maggie Carranza, 47, and her mother, 71-year-old Emma Hernandez, were delivering Los Angeles Times newspapers around 5:15 a.m. in Torrance when the officers opened fire on their vehicle.

Jonas said, "There was no warning. There were no orders. No commands. Just gunshots."

A patrol unit was reportedly assigned to protect the home of a high-ranking LAPD officer during the manhunt for 33-year-old Dorner, who is believed to have killed a Riverside cop Thursday and an Irvine couple Sunday.

In a news conference, Police Chief Charlie Beck said the officers thought the women's royal blue Toyota Tacoma matched the description of Dorner's dark-colored Nissan pickup truck.

"Tragically, we believe this was a case of mistaken identity by the officers," said Beck.

Jonas finds that hard to believe.

"The vehicle is a different color. The license plate doesn't match. There's nothing there for you to start shooting people. And even if they had the person in question... Mr. Dorner...you still have to give them an opportunity to get out. You can't just start administering street justice," said Jonas.

Carranza suffered minor injuries to her hand from shattering glass.

Hernandez, who was shot in the back, is in ICU at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Christopher Dorner Fans On Facebook, Twitter Call Alleged Cop Killer A 'Hero,' Citing Police Brutality

Posted: 02/08/2013 5:21 pm EST | Updated: 02/08/2013 8:00 pm EST

Call it the "Dark Knight Complex." In the age of the Internet and social media, behind certain high-profile alleged murderers, there are loyal fans.

Supporters of Christopher Dorner, the former LA policeman turned "cop killer," have shown up online, with tweets and fan pages on Facebook. Some call Dorner a "hero" for writing a nine-page manifesto alleged on racism and corruption within the LAPD.

Numerous supporters on Twitter are calling the alleged murderer a "Dark Knight." One Facebook page calls him "the hero LA deserves, but not the one it needs right now ... He's a silent guardian, watchful protector against corruption, he's our Dark Knight."

The vast majority of Americans are horrified that Dorner declared "war" on the LAPD and has allegedly killed three individuals so far. But the public disgust seems to add fuel to the fire for his followers, as it does with skeptics of 9/11, the Aurora massacre and the Newtown massacre.

However, it is clear that Dorner's fans have a more issue-driven focus than, for example, the fans, or "Holmies," of alleged Aurora shooter James Holmes.

Dorner's supporters say the media should be focusing on police brutality and officer-involved deaths as much as they are on this alleged killer.

Police are desperately continuing a massive manhunt across three states and Mexico in search of Dorner, who claims he was fired by a racist, corrupt police force. In their search for the dangerous police- and military-trained man, officers accidentally shot two innocent Latina women Thursday. Some of Dorner's fans have criticized the incident as an example of the police's "shoot first, ask later" approach and say Dorner is giving police a taste of their own medicine.

"This is an intelligent man who has stared into the dark heart of corruption," Ruth Iorio, a 33-year-old LA screenwriter, wrote to HuffPost in a Facebook message. "Now he's taking vengeance upon it, trying to turn the LAPD into the victims they have persecuted, including Kendrec McDade, Alisia Thomas and Kelly Thomas."

Edward D., 25, told HuffPost that he started the Facebook fan page "Christopher Dorner" to "wake up the citizens and force police departments to change their ways. If they learn from this, it shouldn't happen again." He continued, quoting President Kennedy, in a Facebook message, "'Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable.' -JFK"

The individual behind the Facebook page "I support Christopher Jordan Dorner" explained to HuffPost that he started the page to steer the conversation away from Dorner's mental health.

"I knew that the media was going to turn this into just another 'He's a psycho ex-cop ex-military that went insane' story, and wanted to show that there was more to what was going on than that," the individual, who wishes to remain anonymous, wrote in a Facebook message. "There is a huge underlying story of police corruption and the plight of a man that tried his best to do good but was relentlessly punished for it."

The page has over 2,000 likes as of Friday afternoon.

I don't like the Dark Knight comparisons people are making. If anything, he's more like Nat Turner, who was a slave in the 1800's who organized a slave rebellion against his masters and overseers. At least 60 white people were killed by his group. along with 100 black slaves and others. He was tried for murder and during his trial admitted to killing all of those people but pleaded not guilty "because I don't feel guilty."

as far as the dark knight goes....naw, not a good comparison.

i'm like feeling this all too real scenario is more like the movie:

01. Theme From First Blood [Pop Orchestra Version] 4:07 Hear This ...

in the movie rambo was driven by rage and turned to self preservation at all cost.

(this does not mean i give former officer dorner a pass in the lives he's taken, but this man is past being driven by what he feels has been unfair and unjust treatment by the lapd== he has entered a state of major depression that can spark a state of violent and irrational behavior.

still i hope he can be stopped before killing anymore peope. and like i stated before, i do hope he can orchestrate his surrender by turning his self in with wide media coverage.)

as far as the dark knight goes....naw, not a good comparison.

or maybe more like: in the movie:

i'm not glamorizing this serious state of affairs, but we all know sooner or later a movie will be made about this all too real series of events via a former LAPD officer gone hopelessly beserk.

People are actually calling him a hero. Unbelievable. Look I get his anger against his former buddies at the LAPD, but this is ridiculous. I notice how quiet the media is compared to, oh, say when other folks just shoot up places and people assuming things...

Good lord, just what America needs right now...a real life scary black man running around like Django unchained. I wonder how much gun sales have increased since this story broke?

The LAPD shooting up every pickup in sight only gives merit to Dorner's portrayal of them in his manifesto.

LAPD to reopen probe into fugitive ex-cop's firing

9:29p.m. EST February 9, 2013

Los Angeles police say they will reopen the disciplinary proceedings that led to the firing of Christopher Dorner, a former officer who's wanted in three killings over the past several days.

BIG BEAR LAKE, California (AP) — Los Angeles police say they will reopen the disciplinary proceedings that led to the firing of a former officer who's wanted in three killings over the past several days.

Cmdr. Andrew Smith said Saturday that the department will reopen the investigation that apparently has led Christopher Dorner to seek revenge against former LAPD colleagues who he believed cost him his law enforcement career.

Dorner alleged in an online manifesto that he was wrongly fired for reporting that his training officer used excessive force.

Police Chief Charlie Beck tells KCBS-TV the department will thoroughly re-examine Dorner's allegation to ensure the public that the LAPD is fair and transparent. He says if Dorner wants to surrender, the LAPD will "be happy to hear what he has to say."

all this killing is un~necessary and he still looses everything

defeates the purpose of what ever it was he stands 4

neutral

Pretty fucking much. Which is why I'm not cheering his actions. They're just as bad because he DID kill folks.

he is consumed by revenge

plus he could have cleared himself without killing innocent ppl nod

makes him nothing but a big low life
