Husband Murders Wife Who Refuses To Make Him A Hamburger

disbelief KENDALL, Fla. —A 78-year-old South Florida man became so enraged when his wife refused to cook him a hamburger that he stabbed her to death, police said.

Miami-Dade police said Bartolo Gelsomino confessed to killing his 71-year-old wife, Ana Gelsomino, on Jan. 21 and staging a burglary to cover up the crime. He faces second-degree murder charges and will be arraigned Feb. 11.

The Miami Herald reported the couple's daughter found her mother's body in the home.

As police searched the home, Gelsomino - a Sicily-born man who primarily speaks Italian - showed up. They noticed two possible blood stains on his shirt.

Gelsomino told police he stabbed his wife during an argument. He then led detectives to a trash bin in a nearby warehouse where he tossed the knife.

I rather doubt the hamburger was the issue.

This guy is suffering from dementia or some other mental issue - possibly age related. However it may seem, old people are not confined to Florida.

The only thing that Buzzard was Suffering from was a lapse in forgetting to change shirts before the Cops arrived. He knew exactly what he was doing when he did it, he knew how to cover it up and he knew to drive to the other side of town to get rid of the evidence.

All that work he was doing covering his tracks had to raise his Damn blood prerssure, send his Diabetes numbers up. He probably was threatening a stroke... He probably was so nervous about what to do with the weapon he forgot he walked with a Cane. He was Pimp walking to that warehouse like George Jefferson to throw-away the weapon. He should have sat his Old behind down somewhere...

If you're Old and retired or wanna Shoot down anybody you don't like just move to Florida...Even Mickey Mouse carries a gun in plain sight.....

lol lol lol I never understood why people want to move to Florida. Some say it's because of the hot weather all year around. But, I associate Florida with people moving there to die. That's what old people do, move to Florida so they can die in the hot-scolding heat. I guess those of the types of decisions you make when dementia starts to set in.neutral

In all fairness, the weather is a MAJOR factor for snowbirds. My ex's dad moved to Florida 14 years ago when he retired and couldn't afford the high taxes on Long Island.

He has emphysema. Up here, he was constantly on his nebulizer. Down there, he regained some vigor. The weather did wonders for his overall health.

To be fair, I don't think it's Florida in general. The problem is WITH DADE COUNTY!!!!!

^ I don't think it's neither. It's the mentality of the people doing the crime. Generalizing Florida (or even Dade County) is really stupid. Like those thinking Florida is a bad state because of the (biased) media handling of the Travyon Martin case there and their overlooking of black gangs bullying and shooting other blacks.

Plus there's a double standard because there's women who would always kill their husbands over petty shit. Couples who kill each other, no matter what gender does it, are real foul and mentally fucked up.

Folks always talking about our senior citizens. It's either die old or die young, take your pick. lol

I'm sure most of the comments about Florida have been tongue and cheek. The level of violence in the US speaks to a mind-set. As Timmy mentioned women kill men. The facts of the matter are men kill at a much higher rate then women...that's why you hear more reports. It's no different then if you lived in a high crime area verses living in a low crime area.

You are right, but I guess since the press always writes about Florida and all the crazyness that happens there, we kinda get this bad image of it. Last year it was all types of things that went down there, like cannibalism, to murdering to racism. But I agree tho, couples that do such things have mental issues.

Yeah I mean, what would compel anyone to do that unless they were that fucked up? Shouldn't have any weapon if it's gonna be like that. They could've settled it by going to Burger King or some shit.
