Justin Bieber caught smoking a spliff

Justin Bieber kicked off the new year on a real high note -- clutching a smoldering blunt at a big party inside a Newport Beach hotel room this week ... and TMZ has the photos.

The pics were snapped on January 2nd -- the day after a paparazzo was killed while trying to take photos of Bieber's Ferrari -- and it's pretty obvious ... Bieber wasn't feeling too bad about the whole situation

Despite not liking Bieber and i will sound like a major dick here... but why should he care?

I mean it's a shame the guy was killed!, But it's not like Biebs was hanging with the guy...

It was paparazzi stalking him... i don't think he needs to feel bad honestly.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I like him more now, both for smoking weed (which it's very likely isn't the case, but who cares if it is?!?) and for not giving a fuck about the idiot who got himself killed while stalking him. And while we're at it, fuck TMZ, too! Privacy invading pieces of shit that they are.

And?

Exactly.

1. We don't know what the hell he's smoking; brown paper doesn't exactly equal a spliff outside of the US, and even if it did in this case...

2. He's a teenager now experimenting with the things all teenagers are told not to do, big whoop: he's neither baby Jesus nor the first kid to light up when mom or dad is not watching. Kids have phases of being what they think is rebellious, and most of them eventually grow out of it. shrug

I really wish the media would leave the kid alone.

He has done amazing things for his fans, and is constantly visiting the sickest of his fans in hospitals. He actually has played with young fans who were terminally ill and fullfilled some of their wishes.

I mean, seriously--he's a good kid. So what if he's behaving like a young man outwardly and annoying folks. I say leave him alone.

I remember when people were preying on Britney.

Ths video sticks out in my mind.

He's a grown man... his business, his choices, his life, and his consequences.

But.....

Folks always talk bout this is an experimental phase but a lot of those folks end up in drug rehab, if they are lucky. Its a cautionary tale... a lot folks thought they would mess around bit and not get caught by the tiger. You don't have to be a saint, most folks who get caught up are good people'.

Great post & a very touching & honest video.

So many people love to diss Justin Bieber and his music. I couldn´t care less about his annoying music but he´s paid his dues, is an autodidact who taught himself how to play at least four instruments, his mom worked her ass off to take care of him, he had a very humble childhood and from reading your post I think he seems to have a good heart, too, and he comes across as quite smart in most interviews, so I don´t understand people´s obsession with dissing Justin Bieber whenever and wherever they can. There are artists out there who are far more annoying than him. Who knows, maybe he knows that his music sucks but he knows how to milk his audience.

By the way....like Ottensen said, that thing in his hand is not necessarily a joint, it could also be a cigarillo or just some sort of blunt without weed in it. And if is weed....so what?

I like the fact that you don´t jump on the "Let´s diss Bieber" bandwaggon. I can´t stand his music and his popstar persona but, like you said above, it´s time to give it a break and look at the good things he´s done and his achievements.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Justin Bieber fans draw shock, outrage with gruesome ‘Cut4Bieber’ trending topic

The hashtag campaign, created by an anonymous user on the notorious website 4Chan.org, was intended to trick Bieber fans into harming themselves to get the pop singer’s attention.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2013, 12:56 PM

Justin Bieber fans have proven themselves a force to be reckoned with, but some might have gone too far by participating in a maliciously false trending topic that sparked outrage Monday night.

The hashtag #Cut4Bieber began trending, suggesting that dedicated Beliebers engage in self-harm through cutting themselves in order to get Justin's attention in response to his recent alleged bad boy behavior.

"Lets start a cut yourself for bieber campaign," an anonymous user initially wrote before the thread was deleted, according to Billboard. "Tweet a bunch of pics of people cutting themselves and claim we did it because bieber was smoking weed. See if we can get some little girls to cut themselves."

The onslaught of potentially real self-harm photos was cause for alarm for thousands of tweeters, including fellow singer Miley Cyrus.

"Don't blame this on Justin, it's his life no one else's!" she initially wrote. "So stop with this #Cut4Bieber self harming is serious." She then deleted that, and replaced it with a poignant retweet.

OFFICIALCANCER_TWEET_WEB

Miley Cyrus posts a retweet calling the trending topic 'disrespectful.'

The hoax campaign was created by an anonymous user on 4Chan.org, a message board website where anyone can post comments and share images.

The same website was responsible for an October hoax campaign that urged a #Bald4Bieber trend, suggesting fans shave their heads for Bieber, who was said to be diagnosed with cancer.

This time around the trending topic garnered more than 26,000 hits in 12 hours, according to the trending tracker site Topsy.

PARIS_TWEET_WEB

Paris Jackson responds to the alarming trending topic with a plea.

Though there were a lot of gruesome photos, some tweeters decided to make use of the play on words by posting photos of themselves cutting paper, cake and other things.

Bieber has not responded to the hoax hashtag, though several fans have tweeted directly to him about their outrage.

A person in the music business doing drugs? Oh that's a big newsflash! Hell, drugs need to be popular again in the music business. Maybe some actual good music might get made.

I suppose Justin Bieber's freedom of choice in partaking the weed .

And this latest controversy would not be an issue if my USA government would legalize weed on a federal level already.
