Wasn't it announced a couple of years ago that they were re-introducing a 13th sign ("Ophiuchus" which was removed for some-reason-or-another)???

I googled it and the answer doesn't jive with what I'd heard before.

I mean...isn't it true that there were really supposed to be 13 months in the year based on the lunar cycles, but were reduced to 12?

I agree with all this, but particularly these:

I'm very much influenced by the energy or vibe in a room or place. It affects me extremely and I will not stay in places or keep things in my home that alter my energy.

OK. This is where I have some disagreement.

My Mars, despite being in the first house, is a special case since it is after all Pisces and Mars is very weakened in Pisces.

I consider my Mars to be very weak and I fucking hate it.

Fortunately I do tend to be assertive and do like to be in charge --- but a lot of that has to do with Scorpio Sun and Capricorn rising for sure. Were it not for the other aspects in my chart, my Pisces Mars would make me a fucking pushover.

I would say my Mars in Pisces, due to its desire to retreat, dissolve boundaries and submit, works against my natural assertive tendencies and works against its 1st house position.For example, Mars in Pisces does not have a lot of energy; it loses energy easily ... dissolves it ... gives it to others. It's the Piscesean way.

I've always felt at war with my Mars in Pisces because as a Scorpio sun I hate powerlessness but my Mars in Pisces makes me feel powerless and deferential on many occasions which my ego commands it to be otherwise.

As an example, I remember once when I was in public and had an altercation with some strange man I didn't even know. My Scorpio sun was unafraid and ready to be combative, but before I knew it, my Pisces mars had let this bastard invade my personal space and he was pressing his beer belly against me. I was like ... OK, how did I let this happen?! I hate my Pisces Mars!!!!! Luckily, the cops were there.

Also, -- no I don't need to be the first to do anything ...because Mars in Pisces is not ego-centric (I'm egocentric as a person though!).... Mars in Pisces does well in the background, not asserting self. So, a lot of times I know I can do something but I don't give a shit and I'll just let others do it.

Yes -- independent mostly -- but that comes from Scorpio, not PIsces. Mars in Pisces actually triggers emotional dependency in me, and even co-dependency. This Mars is so fucking weird to deal with. IF there were one thing I could alter in my chart, it would be that.

Having Mars in the 1st ...and yet havingthe Mars in the weakest sign ever!!! (no offense to Pisces) ... I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

It does make me sensitive and artistic though. I would say due to my Mars in Pisces I am incapable of doing certain things if my sensitivities are offended or if I'm not inspired and can't use my artistic talents in some way. Seriously -- almost to the point where I feel paralyzed and unable to do things. This isn't good for work, by the way.

I perswonally don't believe that, but OK I understand you do. I don't see Cap energy itself as humorous -- that doesnt mean a Capricorn person can't be funny because they have other energy in their whole natal chart

Jim Carrey doesn't really illustrate the point, IMO.

In the case of Jim Carrey, yes, he is a Capricorn, but he has his MC (his career axis) in Leo, the sign of the entertaner and the drama king. Plus his Mercury, which is used to make jokes, is EXACTLY conjunct JUPITER, the planet of mirth which rules Sagittarius, which certainly has a reputation for dry, blunt humor and silliness.

I don't attribute Carrey's humor at all to his being a Capricorn.

I would credit his Jupiter-Mercury conjunct at 0 degrees (what a gift!) -- and maybe even make an argument for this conjunction being in the witty 3rd house (perfect match for his witty Gemini moon). Then, add the career house which filters this through a Leo showman persona. It seems quite obvious why Jim is funny.

But OK, you're suggesting he gets this from Capricorn..... I'm not saying you're wrong, I just dont see the support for this view.

You know Dalia, I just had a big change of heart. I rejected most of the Mars in 1st stuff, but now I see really I was being BLIND and dumb!

I knew my progressed sun was in Sag -- and I love it there. Idealism is an extreme part of my life -- it's a personal philosophy, actually, for better or worse. So many things must be extremely lofty and grand to me, but then I am fueled by so much Sag energy ---beyond my sun's progression ---that it's no surprise.

I never really thought about my sun progressing into Capricorn, but I could definitely use more structure... so counting down to 45 I guess. LOL.

Hi Dailia! This took a long time to respond to, because we are talking about my emotions and that's a very complex subject!

The 6th house as a house of "work" is so tricky to comprehend. I mean ...it's service to others, daily tasks, and mundane work that people just do for money/obligations (as opposed to the 10th house calling/vocation). So, with my moon here, you would think those types of "work" would be "important" and that I'd "care" for them as you say -- but I really don't. It's very irritating to me. I will say I feel compelled to take care of people, if I have a connection to them -- even if in passing. It's not a passion or anything, it's just that emotionally I do feel compelled to do it.

You like your environment to be neat and comfortable. That can help you be more efficient in your work. You are very receptive to your environment.

I do like organizing and having a system for things, although my Sag side is very messy. So, it's an organize-destory-organize-destory cycle. LOL. But yes, I'm really into logistics and having the environment set up efficiently. It does help me function.

My favorite part of having my Cancer ruling my 6th house is the connection between emotion, health and food. I have a really strange bond to food in that it can immediately deliver health benefits or detriments and have an impact on my mood. I don't know if this is in my mind - it's likely intuitive. My family teases me about this all the time. Like ...if I have a headache or an illness... I'll treat myself with some organic food or herb and I swear I immediately feel better ...like seconds or minutes later. I can feel it working, I swear. Everyone tells me this is in my head and it's impossible to recover that fast. But it's so funny to me. For example .. .spinach salad with oregano dressed with olive oil and apple cider vinegar will likely cure anything for me. LOL. I'm serious.

Another way I emotionally react to food ... is literally on sight. Like if I see vegetables or fruits... I have an emotional reaction (squealing, screaming, hugging the food)....because they are sooo beautiful to me. OK. I sound rather silly, but this is just all funny to see reflected in my natal chart.

And yes, me and alcohol don't mix although I love wine.... I had just 1/4 glass of Sangria last week and I immediately got sick.WTF. So yes, very sensitive digestive tract -- foods can give me hives, I'm very reactive to poisons in foods ...like in apple seeds (which likely wouldn't affect anyone else) and excess garlic, etc. Oh, and I HATE sugar; we don't get along.

I had to stop eating fast food years ago. It makes me feel terrible; I have no idea how people eat it. I can eat at restaurants but I'm really sensitive to bad food...like processed foods and chemical additives, "fake food". I hate that shyt. I've been meaning to grow a garden in my backyard and just redo my lifestyle to primarily natural, healthy organic foods ... I need to commit to that because I think it would help my emotions and my health.

And that's been my experience ...so I am preoccupied with testing situations for emotional security ... because I rarely believe anything is emotionally secure. That type of worry doesn't scream "secure" emotions to me. But OK. (Since my moon rules 6th and 7th ..this emotional insecurity is only related to matters of those houses).

It's something I've frequently done. I wouldn't say "like." I would say ...emotionally compelled. I don't "like" it...but I am dutiful -- and 6th house is certainly a realm of duty. Well, I guess I feel somewhat satisfied when I know others connected to me are having their needs met... but it can be a very heavy burden. Maybe Uranus square my moon is altering my ability to "like" it...since Uranus makes me want to be free from burden, but my moon would never abandon duty -- hence the square, which symbolizes struggle/strife.
