Although menopause is still a good decade or so away, it seems like I feel like it's starting to be too late to find a nice guy and whatnot. It seems that after age 28, the number of single, available, sane, employed men exponentially falls off year after year.

Maybe you should write the government and ask them to do something in order to get rid of your problem.

Have you tried maybe finding a woman?
They tend to live longer than men, so I think that the age on giving up on them may be longer.

BTW,
if women aren't your "taste", so to speak,
I just realized that there's another thread around here called "Who here likes to eat nut?".
Maybe you'd like to give a shout-out there.

Stop acting bitter and desperate and trying to find a man. Men's natural roles are hunters...let them find you. To me, women looking to "find" men all the time are desperate and are no where near ready to date the guy that is right for them. Also, you don't have to give your number to every single guy that hits on you. If it doesn't feel right, it's okay to tell him that you aren't interested. While you sit back and wait for the guy to find you, you should work on yourself and do things that you like to do...either with family, friends or by yourself. Just my two cents.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

In all seriousness, you should never "give up".

People find love in damned RETIREMENT homes for heaven's sake!!!

Like LC said, it can hit when you least expect it.

Just don't obsess over it.

If this were ONLY about sex, all she'd need is CLEAVAGE, a SHORT SKIRT, and a crowded BAR.

It's never about trying, it just happens at any age.

The best part of being older is you don't waste you time of fixer-uppers.

I agree with this.

I don't believe the vast majority of peopel fundementally change. They change their rhetoric, and they way they try to project themselves. But, that's really just an outward projection unfortunately.

Oh, I wasn't implying that it was you, and I didn't mean that I wanted it in a sexual way.

I just think it's amazing.

I love pin-up artwork.

I'm not sure if it's a 1950's fondness type of thing or not.

I also love Norman Rockwell's artwork, so quite possibly.

Nothing is more tragic to me than Jackson Polluck or Andy Warholl nonsense. boxed
