Severe child abuse

Very disturbing video.

The wonderful thing is that she turned out to be a highly functioning member of society.

To our knowledge, Ms Thomas is the only independent adult survivor of Attachment Therapy/Parenting to speak well of Attachment Therapy. She currently works with Nancy Thomas and her company Families by Design in promoting Attachment Therapy and its parenting methods through lectures and materials sales.

Ms Thomas was featured as a young child in the 1989 HBO documentary Child of Rage, which was later made into a drama by CBS.

imago	I'll have to watch that another day. I get REALLY upset when children are abused. It angers me. Thais here sometimes smack their kids on the arm, and even that upsets me.

Yeah, that was one of the saddest videos ive ever seen. It's amazing that she overcame such severe sexual abuse. Most people can't go thru what she did and turn out to be a productive member of society.

One of the saddest things is on top of dealing with the abuse from her father, she had to deal with the fact that she sexually assaulted her brother. For a young child to experience that much guilt, it's so sad. I'm sure she wasn't aware of the fact that her behavior was learned. She just thought that she was a bad person that hurts herself and others.

Sexual abuse of a child is evil and anyone that does it should be locked up for life.

I hope her brother turned out OK.
