May was scorchio wasn't it! I came back from 2 weeks in Rhodes to mediterranean weather in Ayrshire. Now is grey & freezing again & I reckon I'll have this tan for another week or 2 before I return to a bluer shade of white! biggrin

Sounds like your summer in England was like ours, much higher than average rain, 2 floods in December and January, 60% of usual sunshine hours and average temperatures colder by 2 degrees. Our worst summer since the Victorian period (Even worse than 1991/92), thats amazing considering our weather records here began only in the 1860s when people started arriving because of gold and land.

And they talk about global warming, meanwhile after 8 days of on and off showers, we have fine weather again and a low tonight of 0 (Usual June low is 8).

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

At 8am in Borrego Springs it was 86 degrees, they're expected to reach about 100+ today, luckily I live closer to the coast, but still that says summer is in full swing. Hell summer was in full swing when it was still winter.

We are expecting thunderstorms tomorrow. But until then, it is hot, hot, hot! And I haven't installed my air conditioner at home yet this year. :melt:

Getting hit by tropical storm Debby. Yesterday was grey with light rain. Today we have had pouring rain for 12 straight hours, under tornado watches and warnings all day. Winds so heavy they took down a tree in back of our house. Luckily missing any houses.

I hope this dies down soon, supposed to be raining like this through til Tuesday.

It was boiling hot all day long and now, in the evening, a fat, almost tropical storm hit the city. Strong wind and raining cats and dogs onto the dark streets with old street lights. I absolutely love this.

I live in Sydney and it was 5C this morning, I can't remember it being this cold ever, I feel like I'm back in England. Except our houses are not designed for this weather! No double glazing or anything like that!
