Spidey's reptilian antagonist is featured prominently in this clip, true believers.

I didnt want to like this but it looks amazing.

Denis Leary is going to be great.

I saw another trailer that had a first person POV that was fantastic looking.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Ok, I wonder how many people will end up knowing Peter is Spider-man by the end of this one.

It seemed like the whole damn Marvel universe knew who Spidey was by the end of the third Raimi film. lol

This looks awesome. I'm totally stoked to see it.

The guy playing Spider-Man is off-the-charts hot.

I truly don't know what to say

I want to DISLIKE this film, basically because I still don't know which are the future plans of the producers: will this be the first chapter of a new trilogy? will they use/redone some of the old enemies of the Raimi franchise (specially Venom and the Green Goblin), or will they focus on new and LESSER villians instead (Electro, Wolfman, Rhino, Vulture, Mysterio, etc) ?

but I gotta admit that the trailer looks good. Garfield looks a bit bland, though. Anyway, a big improvement over that Mr.Bean lookalike, Tobey Maguire barf

I thought Tobey Maguire was ok a Peter Parker.

He had a certain naive charm about him.

What spoiled the films for me was the cringeworthy dialogue..especially between PP and his aunt.....

"And when she got out of the car, and you saw her for the first time, you grabbed me and you said, "Aunt May, Aunt May, is that an angel?" barf

JK Simmons was a god send he stole every scene he was in.

the only three things I like about the Raimi trilogy

1.James Franco

2.JK Simmons

3.the CGI/makeup of Venom (of course, Raimi hated the character, so he barely used him rolleyes)

4.bonus, the scene of the first film when PP discovers his powers

the rest, from meh to crap...

Sony is rebooting the whole franchise without Toby and director Sam Raimi.

I didn't know that. I nver understood why the gave Sandman such a big part and not Venom.

Spider-Man is not supposed to spin his own webs. The wrist deployment system was an important distinguishing trait and provided Spidey with his signature hand gesture (middle and ring finger down to butt of palm).

Yep, one of my favorites too. Out of all the Marvel heroes, he has the best cast of villains. Great thing about Spider-man is his ability to take down mfers many times stronger than he is due to his unique fighting style(like when he beat Firelord).
