electronic cigarettes yay or nay?

Anyone tried one ? Have they helped you quit or substantially cut down your cigarette intake? Considering giving one a go. smile

I work with a guy who quit smoking 2 years ago but he still uses his electronic ciggie lol

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I have a few friends who've switched from regular cigarettes to the electronic ones. One was a woman whose husband was trying to quit smoking - and the smell of smoke was a trigger for him. I haven't seen her with a regular cigarette since.

I also know a couple who didn't want their young daughters to see them smoking anymore. They didn't really smoke around them that much - and never in the house - but the visual was something they wanted to stop. And they didn't want the girls to smell smoke on Mommy and Daddy, anymore. For them, I think it's a bridge to quitting altogether.

All of these folks are actors, who also like them because they can have a smoke during rehearsal - without waiting for a break. Since the electronics only give off water vapor, they can smoke indoors without a problem.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Shyra

This is going to sound stupid as hell. I bought a pack of these cigarettes through Groupon. And my dumb ass hasn't even tried them yet. I'm still sneaking regular cigarettes after I quit about 4 months ago. I don't know what's wrong with my stupid addicted ass. Those muhfuggin cigarettes have a hold on my ass something fierce. Lawd, I'm just so happy I never liked cocaine and was smart enought to stay away from and not even try crack, less my ass might have ended up on the corner. loser

I quit smoking tobacco 1st January this year -

I've been using ecigs since then and know i'll never go back to tobacco.

The nicotine come in varying strengths and flavours - so you can decrease the addiction at your own pace.

Definately recommend to anyone.

I've also been working out again for the same length of time - so feel fitter and look healthier

cool
