My mom was the opposite. She complained for the entire half hour when I insisted on watching it in the triage room at the hospital when we were there with Granny.
My sister started watching it, so now my mom will call and say, "Are you watching that "Bang" show?"
My mom, bless her, let me read comic books (even though she hated them) and didn't throw my collection away (as many other mothers would have). I think she loves the show partially because of the comic book stuff in it. She doesn't understand what they're talking about, but she finds it funny nonetheless.
I'm always impressed by how right they get the comic book stuff. I'm not smart enough to verify the veracity of the science stuff, but the superhero stuff is pretty spot-on. (I love that they are DC geeks and not Marvel geeks, too.)
The reason they are DC geeks over Marvel more likely has to do with the show being owned and distributed by Warner Bros., as they own DC Comics.
i love the show i think sheldon is the best put lenoard makes me sick the way he holds his neck and the way he talks makes me sick i couldnt stand him on roseanne and here he going ruiining another show and that slut penny she makes me so damn sick ruined the finale season of charmed my all time fav show when u do that aint shit elese u will ever do to make me like u .amy i love her character and bernadette they both cool. iwish they would get rid of lenoard most of all
