I just made a big pot of soup. I have not made soup in a long while and well, it is pretty bland. Oh well neutral. I have been doing fairly well with my eating and soup is very filling yet usually not a lot of calories.

Enjoy your day at school! Now that you are back in good health you're ready to pick up a fresh new batch of germs from your students. Are high school kids as germy as the grade school crowd?

I feel like ranting. I don't want to mess up this thread with a nonstop rant. But I feel one coming on in a big way. Maybe I should blog. No one would read it; I know that because few people even read my posts. Yes I am firmly sitting on my pitty pot now!

Thanks hug. I think the person that I am the most pissed at is myself. I am having to deal with the results of my own poor choices. Yes other people's opinion or what I feared would be other people's opinion, influenced my choices but ultimately the choices were mine. Hopefully by this time next year I am well on my way to where I want to be.

There are people who truly don't realize how their words affect others, and there are people who use their words to control others.

Which do you choose to be when start or post on a thread? hmmm

Honestly I don't know. I do know that if someone was offended by something that I said then they should feel comfortable telling me. I don't mind criticism unless it is of the "your a big ugly stupid crackhead" variety. That they can keep.

Controlling others? I never thought anyone was trying to control me, but maybe I am just clueless. I guess if you manipulate a person with guilt that is pretty controlling isn't it? The people I have criticized on the org were grown enough that I didn't feel the need to coddle them. There are some people here that I would never critisize because I don't think they would get the point; instead they would just crawl away wounded. If I don't think that you can take it, I try not to dish it out.

Interesting day yesterday. Why, oh why does it take hours to pick out 2 bunnies from the county animal shelter? I hope she's happy. They were cute, though, too bad we couldn't take them all.

Watched someone getting put out their house by the sheriff's, they've been there at least 15 years that I know of, how'd they get to that place I don't know, sad, that's the difference of 10 years, then, I never seen that type of thing except on tv, now I've witnessed it 4 times in the past 5 years within blocks of where I live.

Later that night, across the street from the eviction, a police raid, lots of fire power, noisy as hell, swat teams all over, helicoptors flying over sigh another day in the neighborhood. shrug thank god it ain't my life, but still I'm not use to all this. Bad little kids stealing the fruit off your tree, doing some damage to your fence is more my speed.

What I meant by "control" was that I believe that some people make a statement and then sit back and wait for people to react one way or another. It's entertaining to set up an argument.

Generally, we have an idea how people will receive our comments, and have an expectation of the reaction.
