I was thinking the same thing because to me Baby Suri is gorgeous and Tom and Kati are well... not what I consider "good looking". They are just, OK looking.

This one little girl stays in my head. I was in a Catholic church in New Orleans. The mother had those Marty Feldman in young Frankenstein eyes. The dad had a long pointy nose and beady eyes. That little girl was stunning.

This happens even more so when the two parents are of different racial backgrounds. Last time the guy was white and the woman was East Indian, I have seen it with a very plain Asian woman and a man who was, at least in part, of African decent and also not a head turner. The faces of these kids seemed flawless and symetrical, like top models have.

I know a couple...both of them are very attractive. Good-looking enough that if they were taller, they could model.

Willow Smith seems to be having a prolonged awkward period. She is the first person that came to mind when you said this. It just may be taking a while for all her features to get in sync with each other.

Also, I feel bad for the daughters of beautiful women who end up looking like the not so attractive dad. Billy Joel's daughter isn't "ugly" but there are some pretty bad pics of her out there. Then there is Chaz Bono, Elizabeth Taylor's daughter with the last name Todd, the list goes on.

I often read Psychology Today, there's lots of articles on beauty, attraction, etc.

There's one about mixed race, particularly Asian + non-Asian mixed race children rating more attractive in some test they did. It's b/c they look "healthier" - more symmetrical and better skin tone.
