Guys in long term relationships who aren't getting any:

is your lady on hormonal birth control?

(if you are unsure ask her)

by that I mean either:

combined oral contraceptive pill

progesterone only (or mini) pill

IUD with slow release progesterone

implant such as Implanon® or Norplant® II

Depo Provera® injections

and then report back. I'm conducting a study biggrin

My husband's theory is that your women have never had an orgasm lol I'm telling him it's because their sex drive is completely gone thanks to birth control.

Each time I've started a new birth control pill, I've been scared I'd lose my sex drive. Luckily for me and my other half, it's only ever made me hornier. It's also made me crazier at times so he must suffer from that neutral

I've never heard anything about birth-control resulting in some widespread loss of libido.

I think guys should be more worried if their girlfriends don't use birth control at all. eek

"I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

The one I'm on now has very little estrogen in it and that has been a lot better for me. I didn't have migraines with any of them, but I had awful emotional side effects before and I did not feel like myself, which made me stop taking them altogether for a while. Then I had my ovarian issues and my hormones got all nuts so now I'm using them again and it's been a much better experience in terms of side effects (or lack thereof in this case).

Sex during a relationship is destined to dry up. It's why men cheat. Gay or str8.

I agree the attraction wanes if not maintained nod
And I would add that women are just as likely to cheat.

You really think that most women don't have sex with their partners because of their birth control?

All the ones who aren't using sex as a weapon, who don't have health issues, exhaustion, depression, childhood sexual abuse or any other legitimate reason. After what I read on another message board, I'm inclined to believe there is a link.
