Yes, allthough research isn't conclusive and mostly directs towards non-existing. I like my own irrational beliefs.

It's not always that clear-cut. Sometimes science finds out about things after people are aware of the possibility of their general existence.

No, I think when you get to know someone you can predict what they're thinking. Whether you are consciously aware of it, you observe everybody you encounter.

I believe in it because I've experienced it. Only once. A guy I used to know seemed to always be able to tell what I was thinking which was kind of surreal. eek

There has been done extensive research on telepathy by scientists that I actual have both integrity and intelligence. The field of parapsychology has really taken it up seriously. And no inconclusive evidence has ever been found.

Ofcourse, there a personal experiences that may convince you of the existence. However, scientists have never been able to validate any telepathic phenomenon.

Yeah, especially twins have been researched. For example reading what option out of three their sibling chose. They never guessed right beyond chance.

Oh really?

From what I've read it kinda has been 50/50....

From what I've read for the one's that "prove" telephatic powers so to speak..it often happens when one person is needed or in distress and of course when the subjects are closely bonded like mothers and children, twins or dogs and their owners.

Were that individual accounts or replicable double-blind experiments?

Both actually.

From this book Twin Telepathy: The Psychic Connection. It's full of reasearch studies, case histories and individual real life stories. Intriguing stuff.

So, the reports of the experiments in that book convinced you that it actually does exist?

It is intriguing stuff. And when figured out how that communication mode can be employed, it opens up a whole world of communication oppurtinities. No more high phone bills lol lol

No the book didn't convince me...that's why my original response to the question was "Not really"

What the book did was make me more open minded to the possibilty ..nothing is concrete. So sometimes I'm almost convinced and at other times I'm not sure.

A college class is what turned me on to this book.
