Got a meeting in the morning. I've got major anxiety over whether I'll be able to sleep or not to get up in time. It's a voluntary meeting but I need to go. Having a sleeping disorder is a bitch.

It's so hard seeing your pet suffer. Been there, done that. I never get sick of cats, I love them.

• The sick cat at work continues to hang in there, surprisingly. But I wonder how much longer she can hold on, with all of her health problems. She doesn't eat much (maybe a bit of baby food and a couple sips of water), so she's lost a TON of weight. She seems to perk up though, when one of us gives her attention. She looooooves that, poor kitty.
• I thought I would have a free day tomorrow, with time free to do whatever I wanted, but that's changed. I now have a couple of pet sittings that I need to do. Which is fine, I can't complain. I need the money.
• I absolutely love Mio Water Enhancer! I love how it makes plain old water taste good, and the fact that it has zero calories in it. You can't beat that. I've had people tell me, "I don't like it, because it has artificial sweeteners in it". The way I look at it, using Mio has to be a hell of a lot better than all of that Pepsi that I used to drink. If Kraft ever stops making it, I think I would be geniunely upset.
• Got my new glasses today; I love them! They look really nice on me.
• I need to finish cleaning this house from top to bottom. I hope to get some of that done tomorrow.

I love it too! At first I was like " I dont need to flavor my water" then someone at work made me try it and now im hooked! Sometimes plain water is sooooo boring

And I think what bothers me most is when people have a very specific and general idea of Latin people. Like, oh, you're Latino, you must be like this and that.

I go throught that still... people do not like me saying that I am Latino. I don't fit the standard, because I should "act differently"... I am not Latino enough, and I don't look "latino".

You should know that I would never want to put any person in a box... especially not someone like you.

But I did think you understood how or why another Latino would react a certain way given a certain situation because of the simliar culture. I only thought you had a better understanding.

I know how you feel . I may not be Latino, but I'm Arab(Egyptian) & Muslim. I get some pretty weird reactions when people find out because I look like the average white girl . Some people act like I told them someone died. Frustrating but it's whatever.. people sometimes don't realize outside of their realm of understanding. Like, they're surprised because I don't fit the stereotype or anything because I'm not dark or covered up or whatever. Frustrating , but it's whatever. I guess all you can do is brush it off.

I can see where she's coming from. I was able to convesate with the er...uh...penis in question. I think I just miss him in particular because it was just one more level where we just connected. We just clashed a lot personality-wise. He was a loner, I was a concerned and mothering type. We meshed and fell apart in so many ways.

But yeah, still listenin' to her about that Blockage. He was so good that there was plenty of "-tized" type stuff in the works. But he was also very considerate and attentive and....

Having sex before you find out if you share the same values and ambitions for life isn't enhancing the clearity of the relationship at all. Due to the sex, a different attachment evolves, that makes me not think or forget to easily about his behaviour towards me.

I forgot so often to not listen to my feelings. If I think he's relationship material, I should first see if he makes me feel good about myself and if I can offer him what he needs. My loveydovey feelings tend to take over and forget to see how he treats me in reality. When sex comes in, I just get infactuated.

I def should listen to her album. I probably can learn a lot from her.

The last guy had NO SOUL... but I was hooked because the man was "gifted".

My new guy treats me so well-- like I matter.

We can just sit and talk, and everything is cool. The other night we did sit in silence for a while because he had a long day, so we just chilled. It's nice.
