It's Ramadan!

...me so hungry

Did you manage to get all the choreds done before? So, that when the tiredness hits you in 3 weeks, you can just calm down because of lack of energy?

I always like how Ramadan spreads a different atmosphere in Amsterdam. And ofcourse looking forward to the sugarfestivities woot!

I not religious, just religiously following the festivities giggle

No hahaha I'm lazy I didn't do shit.

Ramadan is supposed to be more than just not eating/drinking/having sex, it's more than that. You are supposed to go through spiritual/mental/physical rejuvination. You are more conscious of yourself and God. People make religious and non religious goals for themselves.

For example, my goals are to read the Qur'an more, pray more, meditate more so I can more easily control my thoughts, watch less tv, be on the computer less, be kinder to people, be more charitable, clean my room more/ keep things cleaner, study for my SATs and research colleges biggrin.

But yes, the food is amazing and so are the festivities square. I just wish I was in Egypt or something at this time of the year because the whole schedule shifts. Everyone goes nocturnal. lol

Excellent! rose What do they do with them? Keep them in fenced in areas? To me it's the only option honestly, they're just not suitable for living in society. I feel so sorry for them. sad Here they're illegal, I have a friend who claims her dog is part wolf but I can see that's not true and he'd behave very differently if he was. He's just another husky/malamute cross.

You're doing great work. nod

my farmor has a coat that looks like wolf-fur eek she says it's dog though

And that's better? confused no no no! My first bf's mum had a wolf fur coat, I never forgave her for that. She remembers it to this day. I guess I've always been very opionated. mr.green

I still don't approve of dog fur, regardless of origin. shake It's very easy to claim it's from something like that, when in fact the dogs are being bred in for example China, in small cages and get flayed when they've reached adulthood. It's terrible. disbelief

mad *gives her hair the stink eye* Man, this doggone perm rod set with the eco-styler gel just had a mind of its own. It looked cute for one day, then went south. I'm sticking to twist outs until I can find me a proper dreadloc stylist....

Here and there in the lining it is.

It was a man's coat, I expect the winters up there would be -30°C often, but the animals would still have needed tending to, so it was worn often.

Yeah, unfortunately animals don't care what temp it is. I tried telling Uzie she should take a walk on her own last winter when it was -23 C. It didn't work so I got my Michelin gear on and walked. neutral
