I like him, I think spidey should always have that lean tight look to him and not too bulky. But the big plus for me is seeing the web shooters.

It pissed me off that in the last reboot they had the web coming from the spider bite. The webshooters give you more of the nerdy/techy Peter Parker which I like much more.

Spiderman aka Peter Parker is a high school student, I think he looks appropriate for his age group.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Yeah, but Spiderman was originally supposed to be skinny and stringy. He was a scientific nerd who happen to get bitten by a radioactive spider. lol He's not supposed to be all bulked up...at least not initially, being so young.

I'm really loving the webshooters, as it's definitely more in line with the comics. I never could get used to Raimi's natural webbing ability he gave Spidey.

My only problem with this costume, and in the comics version in general too, is how on earth was Peter able to sew this intricately designed costume by himself so quickly? Did the spider pass on his natural ability to be able to weave things? What?

Apparently my idea of a nice ass is very different from the rest of America. On a scale of 1 - 10; this guys ass doesn't even chart (in my personal opinion).

I never really got that. He got the powers of a spider from the bite, so why couldn't he make a web like a spider makes them, in de comics?

Spider-Man is supposed to be skinny. He wouldn't be able to do all the crazy acrobatic moves for which he's known if he was bulked up like Batman or Superman. The actor's physique is spot on here.

So I guess in this movie, Gwen finds out he's Spiderman. Hmm...I wish he was shown dating Betty Brant first instead of Gwen. Gwen didn't come along until he got into college anyway.

I dont think the original spider man comics had the webbing included in the bite. PP had to invent that himself.

Spider-man has superhuman strength(he can lift a bus and crush bricks), but he's not supposed to be buff like Thor. This new Spidey reminds me of Steve Ditko and Todd McFarlane's versions.

Why is spider-man so good looking? confuse

I know this hollywood and all, but does EVERY character on film have to be hyper-good looking now?

I mean, I don't mind eye candy, but isn't Peter supposed to be a nerd?

It's like watching the new Star Trek--they're so hot, I call it Enterprise 90210
