My sister does too. For the bowl cut to work the child needs dead straight hair, mine have kind of wiry wavy hair. I pretend I'm a hairdresser and put sections of hair between my fingers I even went to hairhouse warehouse and bought real hairdressing scissors and thinning scissors. I'm sure when they reach a certain age mummy's cuts won't cut it any more! My sister and I used to cut each others hair as kids - we had long hair and put a striped towel over our shoulders to cut along a line.
