Ever watch people find a dead body??

well, it was in Baltimore City........so go figure

went for a nice walk yesterday around the harbor when we happened upon this scene and watched for about an hour

http://www.abc2news.com/d...ner-harbor

they went through the guys pockets and pulled out his wallet, put a body bag around him, etc.

it looked like something from the show "Dexter" with all kinds of forensics people there

pretty cool (kinda sad too)

just another day in Baltimur-der

death is pretty common here, so perhaps I should have said 'interesting' instead of cool

it was just interesting to watch what the process was and who was involved and how everyone was reacting

usually there are different kinds of things to see down at the harbor but this was a bit surreal

'cool' was probably not the right choice of words

Seen two people get killed with knives, one was a woman by her crazed husband...she laid dead for maybe 38 hours before any help arrived for her.

Seen many people shot and killed ... 8 of them were all kids... I few I knew

Little Nikki who bullied me who was decapitated by a van that hit her, she was only 10 rose

Seen the bodies of little kids hit by a taxi that was speeding in front of a school zone..

My brother was almost killed a few times and growing up in the hood leaves you to not care for seeing such things or even wanting to. You pray and learn to run to God so that it doesn't ever happen anywhere. You live in real fear. Those are lives and people will miss them... I saw all this before I was 16. Thank God things are better now. Thank God people care more now and people have more options in life.

no thanks..... seen too much of that bullshit.

well, it is obvious there is no God here with the total lack of respect for life in general

trying hard not to use the N-word on a daily basis is a challenge

I saw them pull a little boy out of our community swimming pool when I was 14 or 15. He was blue and purple and lifeless. It was the scariest thing I ever saw. Some bystander was able to bring him back to life. His babysitter wasn't paying attention and nobody knows how long he was under water. This was a trailer park with 300 trailers and you could have heard a pin drop. It was surreal.

I gave up trying. DC is full of 'em. There IS a distinction between "n's" and "black people." I love black people; it's n's I can't stand! and I'm a black woman...

I grew up in metro Boston... in the hood. I think every city has it hot spots were drug traffic runs rampant. sigh

I recently drove by my old neighborhood... it looks wayy better, many new homes were built in the empty lots but the same old f-ing dumb asses hanging on the street corner were there, but now those guys are well in their mid-late 40's. disbelief

I watched a very close friend of mine shot in the face and killed by a rival gang member, 20 feet away from me. I came home drenched in his blood.

I saw this young boy on a bike get hit by a car and killed while I was eating Subway.

NEITHER was cool, or interesting.

They can say all they want. I'm sticking to my guns. A lot of folk might say they have stopped using the word, but get those same folk riled up behind some "n" bullshit, and see how fast it flies outta they mouth. lol

It's not cool but I think what he's trying to say is how Surreal and strange it is. That's why Stephen King wrote the movie "Stand by me" It was all about finding a dead body, because it's so unusual and feels so strange. I once saw a house burn to the ground(it was a controlled fire done by the fire department) and it was like theatre. Very beautiful even though fire is horrible and scary. You know? Those things shock us and interest us.
