Here's a video of Hulk Hogan talking about Randy.

http://twitvid.com/41MIB

It's nice to hear that they started speaking again, but it's incredibly sad that they didn't speak for a decade. I think Randy's death has shown that whatever grudge you're holding against someone isn't fucking worth it.

Whatever Hogan and Randy weren't speaking to each other over, it definitely wasn't worth 10 years. It's the same with Vince McMahon and Randy.

If they split over money, it wasn't worth it!

Damn Hulk, looks like he lost a lot of weight especially around his face. neutral But that was a nice video considering all I said about him...

I so loved "Macho Man" Randy Savage as a wrestler/entertainer. He embodied the term macho to the fullest, IMO. I thank him for giving me many smiles and lots of laughter. I always wondered how it would've felt to be hugged by him, with all that beautiful chest and sexy arms (respestfully). His wrestling style and showmanship was cool along with his raspy voice and his own way of talking.

When I saw the related article online, after seeing the photo of Mr. "Macho Man" Randall Mario Poffo's face it sadden me to know he's gone.

rose My sincere condolences and sympathies go out to his family and all of his loved ones.

I saw his Saturday morning WWF debut and he didn't wrestle for the first few minutes of the match. He "slithered" in and out of the ring on his stomach then I saw my first ELBOW DROP!

I went to the Los Angeles Sports Arena to see him and Hogan wrestle for the title. Randy came out first and worked the crowd. The crowd erupted when he spread his arms and "peacocked" his pink sequined "gown." Electric!

"Once in ten thousand lifetimes!"

Oh yeah, I think a LOT of people know and recognized Savage as Bonesaw McGraw. "Bonesaw's ready!!" Lol!

And, sadly, they did not do any type of salute or acknowledgement before Smackdown. They just HAVE to do something on Sunday and/or Monday. Not everyone is watching or buying the PPV, so they should do it for that crowd, but also do it for the Raw crowd, which includes everybody!

I could see why there wasn't anything on Smackdown because it was taped on Tuesday. Randy passed away in the afternoon, so I don't think they would've had time to edit an acknowledgement into the show.

I definitely hope they pay tribute to him on Sunday for the Pay Per View or Monday for Raw. He deserves not just a ten bell salute, not just a quick video at the beginning, not just a small mention from the announcers. He deserves a full blown Tribute Show on Raw and Smackdown.

They can show Randy's greatest matches and moments. Have the superstars give their thoughts about how Savage influenced them in the business.

He deserves a celebration befitting one of the biggest and best icons in the history of the business.

This, I agree with. He was one of the MAIN pillars of the WWF, and I think they should, like you said, show some classic Macho Moments throughout the show, do a brilliant long video package, do the customary 10-bell salute, and have other wrestlers talk about their taped thoughts on Savage all throughout the night. To anyone that thinks this is going overboard, yes, he was THAT important to the growth and success of the WWF back in the 80's. So, yes he deserves ALL of this (and much more). He should now have an automatic entry into the HOF, though it's bullshit it took this long. They could induct Drew Carey but not the Macho Man??? Fuck that, Vince!!! disbelief

Anyway, they can still advance storylines with the matches or in-ring promos throughout the night as well. Considering how uncreative Creative is at the moment, I doubt they'd be able to pull it off, though. lol

This was one of the funniest and most enjoyable interviews from Randy. He was quick thinking, funny, had mad personality, and quite unique. All in this one little segment on the Arsenio Hall show.

I wonder what Randy meant when at the end of this clip (6:14) he was asked "What's your relationship with Hulk Hogan right now?" when he replied "No relationship, no. I like girls, he's got something else on his mind".

See, that was wrestlers had CHARISMA. They didn't need scripts or writers to do interviews or promos. 1987-1999 was when some of the most charismatic and talented guys either debuted or were put in the forefront

Macho Man Randy Savage

Shawn Michaels

Sting

Kevin Nash

Vader

Scott Hall

Rob Van Dam

Sabu

Ravishing Rick Rude

Steve Austin

Ultimate Warrior (not talented, but was really charismatic lol )

Bret Hart

Owen Hart

Mr. Perfect

Ted Dibiase

The Undertaker

Damn those names take me back! I LOVED wrestling back in those days! Specifically because of the wrestlers themselves, of that time. Some had charisma. Many had skill. Most were just plain fun to fucking watch!

Remember Andre The Giant, The Junkyard Dog, Roddy Piper, The Animal, The Shiek dude, Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy. OMG! Now that I'm on Memory Lane...whatever happened to Mr. Wonderful - Paul Orndoff? I loved him, like nobody's business!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I remember in the late 80's/early 90's; there was an investigation of several WWF wrestlers (including Hulk Hogan), involving steroids and allegations of sexual abuse of under-aged male fans. I don't recall what the resolution of the investigation was, but the implications alone were very disturbing. That was 20 years ago.

Now, I'm hearing this little remark by Randy (who, by the way, was not one of the wrestlers implicated in that investigation 20 years earlier...as I remember). It's beginning to seem like Hulk Hogan has more demons chasing him than I had previously thought.

Vince McMahon needs his motherfucking ass whooped! Not any of that fake shit in the ring on PPV, either. I mean...SERIOUSLY and LITERALLY!

I wondered a few minutes ago whatever happened to Mr. Wonderful - Paul Orndoff. So I looked him up. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a benefit put on...on his behalf to raise money because he's VERY sick. He's battling throat cancer & lymphoma. The benefit was to cover his medical bills.

http://www.facebook.com/e...1795501098

Paul Orndorff also known to wrestling fans as “Mr. Wonderful” has been battling throat cancer & lymphoma. The medical bills and treatments are very expensive and as such have depleted most of Paul’s savings. In light of this tragedy, Southern Comfort Restaurant & Lounge along with local and national wrestling superstars have teamed together to hold a benefit for Paul. We hope to not only have a great day full of live music, raff......les, auctions, great food & drink specials, but we hope to raise enough money to lift a little of the financial burden Paul is experiencing. Come out and show your love and support for this “living legend!!”

The benefit will be held on May 8th, 2011 from 1pm - ?? located at:
Southern Comfort Restaurant & Lounge
1383 Cedar Grove Road
Conley, GA 30288

It was the wrestlers that made the WWF what it was, so that it survived to become the WWE and Vince has made enormous shitloads of money off of them. Why in the fuck isn't he continually contributing to some type of medical fund that he should have set up for them? mad

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Someone showed me a site of people from the WWF/WWE that were involved with drug intake (not just steroids but cocaine, heroin, etc.) and having sex with underage fans (both male and female). I don't recall where I can find it though since it's been years but some of the allegations about who was doing what shocked me.

That sounds like the same investigation that I remember. I was halfway expecting someone to dispute my claim or memory of that event, as it seems like it was swept under the carpet as quickly as possible. But I remember that shit, because I was always waiting for the outcome, that never came.

Vince McMahon probably made (as in: PAID) that shit go away with the quickness, lol.

Vince is a NOTORIOUS asshole lol

Back when in the 80s, the promoters of different promotions (who were threatened by the looming takeover of the WWF) all got together and considered putting a hit out on Vince. Plus he had promised that he wouldn't cross in their territories and hurt their businesses......

then he went and put them all out of business and bought their assets neutral
