what did she look like before all that surgery?

Lovely and "normal"

But "normal" is sometimes overrated. She didn't become the toast of the town and photographer's darling/muse till she began "reconstructing". Oddly enough, her extreme look really works on camera IMO. I think it's a combination of modeling ability and owning her outrageous look.

Did I mention I love her? lol

eek so pretty!! omgosh... lol cool

lol

You wouldn't have to be gay to appreciate feminine beauty.

You might be gay if someone lookin like a dude gave you dirty thoughts. wink

Sarina is bi.

Other than that, you are correct. Most transgender women want straight men only.

I saw bits of this movie where two Army people, a man and a trans woman, I believe, fall in love and the guy gets ridiculed when he carries on with a romance with the trans woman after discovering the person's identity. Anyone wonder who the actor was who played the trans woman?

Cool thread.

I just want to add: While most of the women here are "passable" or at least conventionally feminine enough in their presentation that it'd be celebrated, we can't forget that many transwomen can't achieve such a look -- and their beauty elsewhere shouldn't be overlooked.

Last year, I graduated with the now Rev. Cindy Bourgeois, first known transgendered person ever to be ordained in the United Church of Canada and, I think, in any mainline Canadian Christian denomination. She faced adversity throughout her transition and ordination process, but she blazed the trail of normalization and dignity for other gender and sexual minorities in faith leadership positions, and I will consider myself forever indebted to her courage. She's one of the most inspiring theological thinkers I know, and she's got a spirit of gold. I feel blessed to call her a friend.

...And, yes, I am bragging. smile

I really don't know enough about transgender males and females to know if I am posting the appropriate material on the appropriate thread!... [I tend to get confused about who was what before/after the operation, and what about those who just dress up but don't have the op?..]

But I thought I would share here pictures of whom I find the most aesthetically/physically beautiful person on the planet [even though I have met him, I don't now him personally, but I assume he's beautiful inside too:)] - that is, Gennady Antoniuk, known as Gertruda or also Gela. Sadly he passed away in 2007 at the tender age of 28. sad I've see him perform many many times in Moscow when I lived there... he was gorgeous and extremely talented on stage.

His main site:

Some personal pics:

My absolute favorite pics of him dressed as a female:

I quite like this, actually. Their voices on the song 'In Da Club' is very dreamy/breezy, love it! I was looking around where I could buy this, but it's nowhere to be found, certainly not on iTunes. I then found out that they have disbanded. What a shame...
