Wonderful! Did you book require a lot of research?

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

It did require some research, but because I have always had a personal fascination with the idea of demonic possession, I'd already read a lot of fictional and 'factual' accounts over the years which gave me a good base of knowledge. I tried to take a story of demonic possession and make it into something unique so much of it came from my pure imagination.

This sounds very interesting, Fiona. Great interview too. I have always been interested in demon possession as I grew up with the threat of them taking over my life. The domestic violence spin also has me very curious. I was going to buy it but I don't have a Kindle. sad I so want to read this.

It is out as paperback in the USA, it's just taking a little longer in the UK for some reason. My family - who live in the UK - have ordered their paperback copies in from Barnes & Noble, I think.

Not that I want you to read it or anything *smiles*

Can I ask what you mean when you say the threat of it taking over your life? I'm curious now!

Ok cool. I thought from the interview site it was only available as an e-book. I will look for it on the B&N site. thumbs up!

As for the demon threat...growing up as a JW the threat of demons was constantly used to keep us in line. If I watched a horror movie, I would invite demons in. If I read books having to do with spiritism or the occult, demons would control me. Even items bought at yardsales were suspected of being demonized. So I lived a very, shall we say, interesting life as a child. Now my favorite books to read and movies to watch are supernatural/horror novels. cool

That's interesting. I think many religions try to frown upon people exploring the "dark side" so to speak. I was raised in a religious home that had a similar attitude, but horror has been my passion since I was a kid. It's just who I am now and I see no harm or evil in it.

Hope you enjoy it, if you do buy it!

Thanks everyone for your encouragement here, I appreciate it smile

It's my passion also. I also enjoy the more subtle horror rather than the gory stuff. And I found it on B&N and ordered it. Here is a link for those interested...

Looking forward to reading it. Congrats again!
