Natural Household Moisturizers?

I hate elbows.

I do.

They be naassssstttaaaaay.

I try to moisterize when I can. But I don't trust store bought moisterizers, even the ones that claim to beh chemical free and organic.

So I googled some great solutions to keeping skin smooth. One thing that I find that works, is olive oil with essential oils in them (mint and lemongrass smell wonderful together). Olive oil seems to really soften skin, but it feels greesy for a few minutes.

Is there a moisterizer that is natural that you use?

This dude has nice, moist knees.

yes, Olive Oil!!! woot!

you are right, it seems all greasy at first, but that goes away pretty quickly. It is not a very thick oil. And it leaves your skin very soft.

The other beautiful thing about plain old Olive Oil is it has no fragrance like other body oils tend to have. It does have its own fragrance, which is not great, but fortunately that does not linger too long either.

I like almond oil, it's even thinner

someone told me to do it after shampooing, but that made my hair super greasy.

I may have to try it before shampooing and see if that works

Coconut oil is also good for the hair. Once I put it on before I shampooed and let it sit then washed my hair and loved the texture afterwards... probably time for me to do it again...
