Question about SSI Disability

Hi everyone, hope all is well.I have a question about SSI Disability that I hope can be answered.Since last November I have been recieving SSI benefits because I have Anxiety and Depression.I usually have to go to therapist appointments but lately i have been scared to go out in public and thats caused me to miss a few appointments.Last month i recieved a letter saying that my case isnt going to be reviewed until November 2013.A few weeks ago i recieved a letter saying it was time for a review.Im surprised because ive only been on it for a few months. The letter said that the review would take place by phone and not in person. So i had the review and when i talked to the SSI disability worker, she asked me nothing about my condition.Just stuff like bills that I pay.Should i be worried that a review is taking place so soon ? Because the letter i have says the review isnt suppose to take place til 2013,are there different kinds of reviews? also,I did some searching on yahoo and they said benefits could only be taken away if your condition improved. In my last therapist appointment i attended which was a month ago,I was improved. But lately things have gotten worse for me.I havent been out of the house in 3 weeks.

Sorry to hear about your condition. hug

I would contact SS directly with your questions and concerns. I would think that it would take for a doctor to see you fit to return to work for the benefits to be taken away, but I'm not an expert. Call them, they should have the answers your seeking.

Are you looking for permanent SSI? If so, you need an attorney right away. If temporary, you can seek advice from an SSI lawyer.

I wouldn't worry. Usually agencies like this have poor overall communication and you may end up getting reviews and recert's every month. Hooray! lol

Hang in there! hug

I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside
