The NFL 2010 season down the stretch

I thought I'd start a new NFL 2010 season thread here, since the last one was so popular:

http://prince.org/msg/100/346876

But since we're now at week 13, the season has gone way beyond the midpoint and is now working down towards the end of the season and the playoffs. Now is a good time to discuss who will become the kings of the AFC, the Patriots or the Jets? Will Kansas City win the AFC west, or will San Diego make their customary late season surge? Can the Steelers get back on top over the Ravens, or will the black birds rule the AFC North? Are Peyton Manning and the Colts about to miss the playoffs? omg Are the Giants going to stumble down the stretch again? Was the most recent Philly loss just a bump in the road or cause for concern? Are the Falcons going to show their naysayers that they are the kings of the NFC? Are the Bears for real? And for God sakes, who in the heck wants to win the NFC west? Discuss.

We need a damn first aid kit for the Giants. Remaining games;

REDSKINS, @Vikings, EAGLES, @Packers, @Redskins

All tough games. We have to win the division. The wild card won't come from the NFC East.

I agree, the wildcard isn't coming out of the NFC east, but it has to be my Eagles to win the division!!!! Although, the last two games have showed that the better teams are starting to learn how to defend Michael Vick. Then again, had it not been for the missed chances the Giants game should have been a blow out so hopefully the Chicago game was just a bump in the road. We need Samueal and Jackson cannot have two catches a game, ridiculous.

chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

Well, the Eagles managed to win one against the Texans last night. But they have two divisional games coming up at Dallas and against the Giants.

Speaking of current and former Bears, is Mike Singletary's coaching job on the line today? hmmm The 49ers face the Packers in Green Bay today, and in 2 of the last three games, the Packers have not only blown out their opponents, they have gotten their opponents' coaches fired the next day. The Atlanta Falcons managed to save thier coach's job last week with a late game-winning field goal (not that he was in any danger), but Singletary has been on thin ice ever since his team started out 0-5.

Big news in Minnesota: the Vikings are piling it on the Buffalo Bills, but Brett Favre injured his throwing shoulder on their opening drive. Is this Brett Favre's final game in the NFL? Especially now that Tavaris Jackson has shown he can step in at any moment and rally the team?

Ray Lewis and his hood friends we have to thank for Atlanta changing their club closing time to 2am. Of course there many other instances, and it wasn't Ray, just his ghetto ass friends. But he is part of the reason Atlanta nightlife is no longer what it used to be!

That Superbowl party was the last straw. Yes, darling, Atlanta is not what it used to be. All the locals will tell you. (And I'm not local) Its prime was the late 80's into the 90's. Then the city transforming Buckhead into Rodeo Drive....no more clubs. We could go on... But this is a football thread and we can save this for later.

I don't care to be out shaking my ass till 6am anyway. A 30-something yr old woman has no business doing that! wink

Any game that ends with a Manning brother looking on the verge of tears is a good game.

Yeah, the Bears pulled one out today, but they have a brutal stretch run. They face the Patriots, the Vikings in Minnesota, the Jets, and finish the season in Green Bay. I could easily see them losing these last four games. sigh disbelief

Even so, I'll take a Bears win. Tuff good teams for sure down the stretch but I'll take them one at a time.

GRRRRRR!!!! I am a Pitt fan, I wish we would get on board!!! Honestly, I don't think we look like a playoff or superbowl team. I love that we have a winning record, but I feel we need to be dominating!!! Tonight's game is frustrating me! Ravens are not better than us, but we are losing! blackeye wall mad pissed

The only LOVE there is, IS the LOVE WE MAKE ~ Prince
