American accents are only laughed at. Not once has someone from here said " I love your accent!". When Phil is in the states ppl say that to him all of the time.

You were like 'Yeah, alright. Shut up and tell me where you are, you drunk bitch.'
Or something like that. |

Hahaha. I'd had a few glasses of wine.
I can't tell the difference between American and Canadian. I bet it's glaringly obvious to.....Americans and Canadians. |

It depends on what part of both countries you are from. There are just as many accents in Canada as there are in the US. |

Most of the ppl are surprised when I tell them that I am American. They usually say that I am too quiet and do not have an obnoxious accent.

If a person ends every sentence with "eh?" then they are Canadian. |

I do not find many women with English accents to be sexy, except Lisa10!
How could you resist my sultry sexy suffolk voice.
That woman sounded very Essex-y.
I was going to say - sounds like an Estuary dialect, to me.
I love that in the show I'm rehearsing right now, I get to do a straight RP. It's been a loooong time since I got to sound posh onstage. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

It's not even true. Canadians don't end every sentence with "eh". We only end with "eh" when it's a question that we expect the person we are asking will agree with in response.
Like, "It's fucking cold out today, eh?"

to put an "eh" at the end of ANY statement MAKES it a question |
