I know I have not been here much lately, but I need your help. I have an interview tomorrow at the immigration in Trinidad to get my visa extended. My chances are not good . I would love to spend christmas with my boyfriend instead of thousands miles away from him . Please send me some positive thoughts/prayers and wish me luck . Thanks a lot!!

At last my update

Thank you everyone so much for your thoughts and care. That day it helped and I was so very, very, very happy when the interview went great and the officer told me I will get the stamp next friday as on that day the cashier was already closed (we had waited for 5 hours to get through). I just need to change my flight and show him the flight ticket and everything is fixed. I asked him 3 times if that is a 100% sure and if I really hould change my flight and he said yes. So I did and payed 280 Euros for that. Well when I went back that officer suddenly told me that his boss denied my extension. When he heard how expensive it is for me he told me how sorry he is, but he cannot do anything about it. I I could have tried to fly to Barbados and to try to fly back into Triunidad and try to be allowed back in, but there was not enough time left to arrange that as my visa was very close to be expired already and I was told if I'd stay in the country too long I'd be deported and never be allowed back in. So I had the most stressfull 2 days of my life making a million phonecalls trying to find a way to stay by either going to the immigration in Tobago or fly elsewhere and back and when I found out that is not possible in that short time trying to arrange the travel back to our house to pack (our car broke down the next morning too ) and back to the airport the next day, to change my flight back (another 60 Euro just to fly on the original date), to try to get the connection flight to reach that flight (all the flights were already booked out) and to try to get a train ticket to reach back home form Germany to Austria in that snow chaos we have here. All in all it cost me about 400 Euros just because that immigration officed fucked me up. I cried non-stop for about 48 hours, I didn't eat anything. I had looked so forward to spend christmas and another 3 months with my man . I don't know when I can make it back to Trinidad, I wanted to look for a new job here, but I cannot imagine to not see him again for so many more months until I find one and until they allow me to go on a longer vacation. I am just so devestated . It would have been sad if he just would not have given me the stamp from the very beginning, but then at least I would not have wasted 4 whole days of my precious time there with immigration and organizing everything, I would not have wasted 400 Euros for nothing and I could have packed in peace, explain to David all kind of things that I started that he needs to finish and say good-bye to everybody overthere. Now everything is just a mess including me . I spent the last 2 days since I am back trying to find out if I need a rabies vaccination after a dog bite that happened last Friday and which would not have happened either if that officer would not have given me that appointment to get my stamp. All the doctors give me different answers, but at last I decided to not get it, but just to renew my tetanus one..

So many people including you were thinking of me on that day and all these positive vibes might have made the difference on that day. Sadly I and everyone who knew about the situation were so sure that no more support was needed for that "black Friday" of my life .

Yes we would celebrate it this year with friends of his who have become wonderful friends of me too in the last weeks. I also celebrated Divali with them. Last year I had no idea it even exists . David is not happy about celebrating christmas I guess, but he has no chance .
