Comic heads: Q about Nightcrawler

Kurt Wagner teleports. It's awesome. But the process is commonly described as having certain characteristics.

A) It makes a noise (Bamf!) everytime, from the air rushing in to fill the space he once occupied.

B) It makes the traveler disoriented, even nauseous if they're uninitiated.

C) It makes a purple spark and a cloud and smells of Brimstone, more commonly known as Sulfur. Which smells like rotten eggs. Which smells like farts.

Does that mean Kurt is fartin every time he jumps?

Or does the sub space smell like farts?

Or is it perhaps because his father was a demon that his true power is the ability to take wormholes through Hell itself?

I have no idea, but I learned several German phrases from Kurt growing up. Between him and the All-Star Squadron books from DC, it was almost like getting a class in German.

Good times.

It's been a long time since I've read the comics, but, as I recall, this is the closest to the real explanation. Only the dimension through which he travels has never been identified as "Hell."

πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶ τὸ ζῆν
τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”

Yeah, but none of them wear spandex, speak badly written dialogue, have an origin story or go through endless cycles of fighting the same battles/wars/enemies etc. ... well, maybe the last one. I guess I can't really say. lol
