I always thought it was the really ugly women that have the highest numbers. They have to get it while they can because they do not know when the next chance will come along, if ever. I guess it also has something to do with them actually feeling wanted by someone.

That being said, I do not think anyone in this thread has posted any really high numbers.

Hmm. I just finished reading this -- I will say that I think it was poor form for her to use full names (although maybe not really her fault since she did not intend for it to be shared), discuss looking for and smoking weed, and I wonder what her parents/grandparents think. Also, while some people may say she's just being like a guy (which I wouldn't disagree with), I would also bet that most of her subjects "participated" because their teammates told them she was willing (aka "a groupie") I have a lot of other thoughts, but I'm not about to post them on a public forum.

Several of the guys I know have pretty high numbers too, like 40+, but they are admittedly skanky. The ablity to casually sleep with 40, 50, 60, etc. people you barely know fascinates me.

I've read the whole thing; in fact, I read the unredacted copy, names and all. The thing that struck me most about this poor girl was that in every instance except one, she was drunk-to-absolutely-wasted before hooking up. But in all cases except one, she said she knew what she was doing.

The part that I thought put this girl in the worst light was the times she'd go over to some guy's pad at 4:00 AM because he texted and said he wanted some. There's really no good spin you can put on that.

I feel real sorry for this girl. She won't be able to live this down for a long time, and I'd guess showing her face at Duke is pretty much out of the question.

I read the unredacted copy, too. I also noticed that alcohol was involved in most of the hook-ups. My other question, which she never mentioned or even implied, was whether they used condoms. I don't really feel sorry for her, she made a project out of it and it sounds like at least one or two of her girl friends encouraged her. Again, straight up groupie behaviour, imo. I actually feel a teeny bit bad for the guys (although most of them sound like typical college athletes who use their status to get sex); some of them knew they were part of the project, but I don't know that any of them expected for it to go viral. It's one thing for her private life to be exposed; after all, she was dumb enough to send it to her friends; but I doubt the guys' permission was asked. Maybe they don't care (at least the ones who got good scores might not). I wonder if there will be any lawsuits.

Well, it would among a lot of uptight people, but I'm willing to bet that a lot of young college age women are having sex with multiple partners. It's mostly because college is a convenient place for people to hook up, and there are willing partners readily available to them. I'm sure there are a lot of women who some would consider to be total tramps in college because they fuck multiple guys or suck huge amounts of dick, but once they graduate and enter the real world their level of sexual activity goes down considerably. Not because they suddenly lose their sex drive, but because they have to deal with the real world they have to be far more selective about who they hook up with.
