1st was consential then he kidnapped her, tied her up .....

nod Only the first time was consential. She did not want to be involved with him after that. She did not tell him her name or where she lived. He tracked her down and kidnapped her. From that point on it was rape. At points she acted like it was okay, but she was just trying to keep him from killing her. She tried to escape once, then finally did escape the second time.

Hoyt and Jessica were AWESOME in this episode!

Oh okay. Yeah I saw when she escaped but I didn't know that he forced himself on her when he tied her up.

Yes they are so cute together. I hope Sam's brother doesn't do something to try and destroy it. He seems jealous...or just plain ole crazy. nutso

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

It annoys me that it will be another 9 months till the next season, how come some programmes (eg gossip girl) are on almost constantly even when one season finishes the next is only a couple of months away sad

good ole hbo that's why. they have 2 make way for other dumb shows. in network tv, a season worth of shows consists from 20-24 episodes ..cable shows, their season is 8-12 shows ..makes no sense ...granted the hours it takes to put a episode 2gether is long but i could so go for hbo knocking off every other show they have (except big love) and just focus on true blood lol

theory being if each season is a book in the series, CH is about 2 put out book 11 in May, at this rate 7 more seasons of true blood? yeah i can see them recasting younger actors 2 play these roles ..yeah right!!!

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

People who like Franklin creep me the fuck out. He wasn't cute, he was a fucking psychotic rapist. Scary how a few jokey scenes can make people excuse rape.

Russell scares the shit out of me too, but thankfully no one is obsessing over him being CUTEEEE. Maybe it's Franklin's looks? Somehow, that's worse. Good looking rapist = awesome, old average looking murderous manic = bad.

I think Russell is adorable. shrug

People Liked Franklin cause he was nuts from his first moment of air and the actor did a great job of freakin the hell out of the veiwers. Also no one is excusing rape so I don't know where youre getting that from. He's a character on a show bout vampires, fairies, both kinds, werewolfs and coming next season witches and hopefully a less whiny shivering lipped Tara.

I don't know, Franklin kinda performed a Jekyll/Mr Hyde act from my POV. When he first appeared, he was smooth and charming in Merlottes & the hotel. I know I didn't see it coming. After that, he became obsessed, but in Franklin's mind, he didn't see it that way. He was truly in love with Tara. I mean he tied her up "to keep her safe" lol and willing to kill other vampires standing in his way for her. What sane person thinks like that. His closing scene was like something from a Shakespeare play...so much emotion for her. I personally think the nutty characters are more interesting to watch on screen too. If this show focused solely on Bill & Sookie's love affair, then I'm afraid they'd lose me as a fan. Alan Ball adds dark humor to different serious subject matters....always has since season 1. That's why I'm unsure why all of a sudden some people are offended by Franklin & Russell. If only Tara becomes a witch, then I do want to see more of her in season 4 because she started out as a favorite of mine. I also want to see more of Lettie Mae....but with Ruby Jean in the picture now, that may just be wishful thinking.

Lady Gaga poisoned a diner full of guests in her Telephone video. Most of her fans loved that video and Gaga in it. By the same standard, fans should denounce that video since Gaga is playing a mass murderer.

oh man, I did not like this last episode. And to make it worse we had a newbie watching who looked at us like, "I can't believe you like this?"

The quality episode to episode of the script/dialogue/editing is so varied!

The episode previous to this started off horribly with some flat scene between Sookie And Bill, but then it got so good and ended with the live tv spine pulling rant which was GREAT!

Uh, no one should ever be sprung with True Blood mid season. No wonder they were looking at you funny! TB is something you have to get used to and figure out (as in, figure out if you can stomach eveything it throws at you!)
