I keep it open but only because I'm a bit claustrophobic. My bathroom doesn't have any windows and since I don't have a phone in there either it just seems like too much of a gamble to close the door, in case it would get stuck. Silly, but that's how phobias work.

Always closed, but never locked. What if I were to fall and no one can come and help me while I am bleeding to death on the bathroom floor?

So we're both paranoid about bathroom invaders. I have flashes of Psycho in my mind when it's open

I live alone.

This morning I showered with the door open and right afterward, I touched the outside walls & doorway. They were not moist at all.

So Ace, if you are concerned about leaving the door open and letting moisture into the rest of the apartment I would not worry about it. Most of the moisture was still in the bathroom, above the top of the door. The rest was dispersed just like the oil in the Gulf of Mexico, outta site out of mind, nothing to worry about la de da!

If i'm home alone - Open. Because I'll have music on in the other room.

If just kids home - Open. So I can hear them and they can come and ask me stuff if they need to. (they're 4 and 5)

If everyone home - Closed. I can get some peace and quiet. most of the time, this is the case.
