of course I am also going to buy an airport to go with it, and like crew and stuff
I'll be just like John Travolta!!

You're gonna blow that money like it's nothing and what do you have? One airplane, One airport in the middle of nowhere, and you'll have to pay those guys working for you there salaries... and then you'll have no money to buy fuel... lol

But don't let me trash your dreams... I wanted a Amusement park neutral biggrin

comfort

I got to ride in the plane, take photos of it and take shelter under it's wing during a rainstorm. I know if I want to go see it, it takes off at 10:10am and 3:30pm each day from Tullamarine heart

I ordered a model of it from eBay

I'm more than happy mr.green

honestly if I won money I'd probably get a couple of apartments to rent or something, nothing spectacular, I don't want for much. I probably wouldn't even get a new car.

I have a question... if you won the lotto would you still be working or will you quite your job?

I was just thinking today how happy my work makes me, and looking back how depressed I was first couple of months this year when I had none, definitely would keep working no matter what. It is nice to be able to knock back projects if I don't feel like doing them - I quote what it's worth to me, if they don't go ahead, then I'm happy I don't have to do it for less (and suffer LOL) and if they approve it I'm happy too!

What I would do.
1. Hire an attorney and express in very clear language that my name is NOT 2 be used in any way shape or form linking me 2 any lottery winnings.
2. Form an LLC holding company to accept the winnings.
3. Formulate a plan 2 "hold" the funds until I decide what I'm doing with them.
4. Take a month 2 really decide how I'm going 2 help people that I know.
5. Get that damn Ferrari.

I don't play lotto.

If I did, though, and I won it, I would probably run, change my name, address and face to protect me and my family from the Mafia!

I'd do nothing special with the rest of money. Just keep it.

Oh, I would also buy a 1968 Delta 88. It was my first car. It was my late grandpa's and grandma never drove, so I got it. It was a MFing badass car. Grandpa rarely drove it, and took excellent care of it. It still had the original AM radio in it, the interior looked brand new, and I loved it. I'd buy one and restore it.

Buy a house
Buy a new car
take care of my family's expenses
Go to school
Start my own business

You can't win 125 million in this country. But you can win up to 50 million tax free. That would be nice.

But I don't really play.

Lord let me win enough to buy my own island, I will want for nothing else.
Pay off all debts for me and my family.
Buy a house for my family and pay for them to go to college (after that, earn or win your own shit)
Open up a clinic for people with proven financial hardship to take care of their animals (emergency issues)
Give a lot to charities and travel around the world helping others.

Truthfully as broke as I am right now, I truly have most of what I ever wanted, If I didn't have to support a family I would probably join the Peace Corps about now and just live minimally. As long I have music, my car, my computer and a tub, and ice cream....I'm good. nod

what would be the first 5 things in order you would do with your money/winnings?

1. Pay off my student loans, invest enough to live comfortably off the interest (see #5).
2. Buy places in NYC and Paris.
3. Pay off any debt my parents might have.
4. Set up a foundation, college funds for my niece and nephew, and scholarships/endowments at my alma maters and favorite museums.
5. Resign my job, live off the interest from the investments, and become a professional philanthropist and world traveler. smile

have you ever won the lotto before (scratch off tickets are included in the question) and if so if you wanna brag how much?

I think I've won a few dollars here and there. I always use it to buy more tickets! smile A couple of years ago, I won tickets (through HQ) to see Prince play at the Hotel Gansevoort and decided that maybe I should buy a lotto ticket that day since I had been so lucky. Sadly I did not win any money; but I had a great night at the concert. shrug
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I've considered this too.

Unfortunately, some lottery rules I've seen call for an upfront agreement at the time of ticket purchase to allow your name and image to be used in future publicity. confused Make sure you read that fine print.

I tend to keep myself from thinking about what I would do if I won the lottery. I only play maybe once a year.
My chances are highly unlikely.
My mom keeps telling me the things she would do and is waiting to do when she wins.
she does play more than me but it is still highly unlikely that she will ever hit it big.
She has won some smaller ones.

1. Pay off my house here.

2. Give some to my dad.

3. Move to CT.

4. Buy a house for me and my employee, two stories to put in a Native American shop on bottom and live on top, stock store. Anything else it needs it is all the same thing so everything counts as one.

5. Help family and friends I could, donate to charities, go to school to be a licensed Shaman, bank any that is left.
