cute!!

My cat is really good at knocking over water glasses that I leave unattended.

She is also good at breaking glass shelves.

And she's a master at finding my hair binders and stealing them to use as toys.

My cat Phoebe does that. She's our little watch dog.

lately, mine has turned into a lap cat, something she never did in the year and a half i have had her. jane was a rescue. it really took a long time to build trust, but as i type, she is laying against my thigh.

she's real damn good at making me typo. i put the keyboard on my knees and try to type over her when she insists on being in my lap.

The eldest male of my 7 acts as a surrogate "nurser." The youngest suckle him until he gets pissed and whacks them upside the head!

Well, my old bird was really good at swinging/flipping/acrobatics. We dunno why she did it. But when she would get down to the corner of her cage, she'd start stretching and turning herself over and stuff. Grandma freaked. I thought it was cute. I guess it was interesting to me because I never thought I'd see a big ol' fat female Parakeet flipping over and acting so silly.

Most of the times, cats run and hide for the first hour or two if a stranger is in the house.

She came to me almost immediately though she was apprehensive about being touched.


Carrie's cat, Sugargirl for example, spent 3 days not approaching me and just staring at me with sort of a deep contemplative stare laced with hatred and malice.

jane is deeply curious about new things, but she'll run if people other than me try and touch her till she's around you a little. other things she has no fear of. she loves the broom. anytime i sweep, she trys to get the broom to play with her.

And that's down from my all-time high of 20! Of course, I didn't plan to keep 20 cats, but I had 2 females which had given birth to 6 kittens each a week apart from each other. All were adopted, thank goodness.
