Tom Baker was the best. but David Tennant wooped his arse. The new one is very fit however, and one is quite excited.

don't worry it'll still be a Police Box smile in fact, it'll be back like it originally was in 1963.

I've not really any issues with the chamelion circuit being fixed and the Tardis blending into it's surroundings, but it just wouldn't be as cool, would it smile

If that's made you boggle, wait til you see the new Tardis interior. Multi levels, staircases, lots of different areas, and a 'downstairs' bit under the console. smile Plenty or room for the new Doc, Amy, Rory & River Song to roam around in!

Can't wait.

well that's where my knowledge ends too. Hate spoilers, so I try to stay away, even though I've got mates who work for the BBC, etc... I don't wanna know.

My guess he's some relation/maybe boyfriend to Amy. Everything else I've mentioned has now been publicly released by the BBC, if you know where to look, so isn't spoilerish anymore.

There's a few returning foes as well. 1 obvious, 1 from a tennant classic and at least 1 from classic 70's, 80's who. If you go to www.BBC.co.uk/doctorwho I think there's a new teaser trailer with a few familiar faces smile

The new teaser is good. It's not clips, just a specially filmed teaser. The doctor & Amy floating around in the vortex with a few baddies floating past. Shouldn't spoil anything, just whet your apetite.

It's starting at Easter. Episode 1 is an hour long (yay) and it's called...

hey, you've only had to wait a month and a half, that's not too bad...

Course, there are ways of getting BBC iplayer to work outside the UK meaning you could watch new eps the very same day that they air in the uk... But I wouldn't ever condone such naughtiness... wink google could probably help with that though...

David Tennant (10th Doctor) is still an excellent choice. However, Tom Baker (4th Doctor) is LEGEND! cool

Jon Pertwee (3rd Doctor) is also classic. cool

I grew up watching Tom Baker, so whenever I think of Dr Who his is the first face I see.

I resented Chris Eccleston at first, but I slowly warmed to him

Then came David Tennent, I loved him from the start. He is my favourite Dr.

Some of his acting was amazing, scenes where he wasnt moving, just the expression on his face, fantastic. Fav scene was after he says goodbye to Rose and the show him alone in the tardis, tears on his cheeks. Great, such sadness and emotion on his face.

AS for Matt Smith, Im not sure. Everytime I look at him I think he should be roaming around Camden in some indie band. Im sure I'll get used to him in time.

Can anyone remember the first episode they ever saw?

I think mine was the Hand of fear, in Tom Bakers era. I was sooooo scared.

I have vague memories of stories featuring Sarah Jane. Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, Planet of Evil.. But I was only a todler. I'm presuming I was just propped in front of the telly because my brothers watched it.

It wasn't until Leela came along that I had proper memories. Robots of Death & talons of weng chiang terrified me.

By coincidence I have just finished reading the book "Dalek I loved you" by Nick Griffith and he talks about both these stories too.

Have you seen Talons of Weng Chiang on DVD??

I haven't, but Im thinking of getting it to see if it's still scary after all these years.
