Joshua Andrew Koenig (born August 17, 1968) is an American character actor best known as Richard "Boner" Stabbone on ABC's sitcom Growing Pains. He is the son of Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, and he also had a minor role in "Sanctuary," an episode of the spin-off series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He appeared as The Joker in the popular 2003 fan film Batman: Dead End, by Sandy Corolla, and currently performs with the improv group "Charles Whitman Reilly and Friends. He is also referenced in the Drawn Together episode "Breakfast Food Killer", where the character Wooldoor Sockbat is on his way to audition for a job as a cereal mascot when he runs into "the guy who was Boner on Growing Pains." In addition to his acting career, he is also a video producer for the podcast Never Not Funny starring his brother-in-law Jimmy Pardo, who is married to his sister Danielle Koenig. In February 2010, Koenig was reported missing by friends and family. He was last seen in Vancouver, Canada on February 14, and missed a scheduled flight back to the U.S. on February 16.[1].

I saw a headline about a Growing Pains star going missing and automatically assumed they were talking about the guy who played the infant boy. As he'd been in legal trouble recently, the news didn't even faze me.
...Then I realized there was no infant boy on Growing Pains. I was thinking of the guy who played Andy on Family Ties. Sitcom overload! Anyway, I've heard only good things about Koenig over the years. I do hope they find him alive and well. [Edited 2/21/10 11:34am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Just in case the other thread on this is locked.
According to the article... "While in Vancouver, he was staying with burlesque artist Jenny Magenta, who took to Facebook on Friday to ask for help in finding Koenig, whose parents told her he may be "severely depressed" about something."
I can't imagine a good reason that a man would go missing on a burlesque artist. So I hope he's alright and is found safe! Slightly off topic...and possibly in bad taste in light of current events but I always thought "Boner" was much hotter than "Mike Seaver". As it turned out, I was right! "Boner" "Mike Seaver" I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

not looking good
'Growing Pains' Star -- Battling Depression Posted Feb 21st 2010 12:35PM by TMZ Staff The parents of Andrew Koenig -- who has reportedly been missing for the past week -- described their son as "suffering from depression" and "not doing good" in the days leading up to his disappearance. Judy and Walter Koenig (who played Pavel Chekov in the "Star Trek" series) tell TMZ the last time heard from Andrew was on February 9. They say his cell phone is turned off and that they have learned the last time his phone received a text was on February 16 in Vancouver. They say he was last seen at a bakery in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver. The Koenigs tell TMZ they plan to fly up to Vancouver in the next few days. They feel the police in Vancouver have been doing a good job so far. Lance Miccio, who worked with Koenig on several projects, tells TMZ he reached out to Koenig about a project two weeks ago but Koening passed, saying he was "not going to work anymore." Right around that time, Miccio says Koenig dropped off a bag of Miccio's stuff. Miccio says he hasn't spoken to Koenig since. Miccio also said he thought Koenig was "suffering from depression." I was gonna make a really gross joke about where I found your boner, but I decided not to.
