I have all 6 of the Howling movies, although I only like the first 2.

There were 6 of them jokes??

I've seen the first Howling a few years back. For an 80s flick it had pretty good make up; the wolf outfits looked real and the special effects when the people turn are horrific. It grosses me out. All that bubblin' and drool and dropping of the fangs.

omfg
I just found out I missed two!

- The Howling
- Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf
Howling III: The Marsupials
Howling IV: The Original Nightmare
Howling V: The Rebirth
Howling VI: The Freaks
Howling VII: New Moon Rising
The Howling Reborn[10]

I try not to read reviews. I need to form my own opinions.
If people went by "the reviews" on here, they would not listen to Prince's music. lol

I love a lot of really bad movies just because they are beautiful to look at, so eventhough this one may not be "good", I'm still going to see it because it looks cool.

Awwww, bummer. But I was worried when the line "The beast will have its day" was uttered in the previews.

Talk about a trite line...

Saw it yesterday. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't that fabulous.
I didn't like the wolf characteristics, for one thing, and it seemed like part of the story got edited out- something was missing.

Underworld was okay, but I didn't like Evolution. Rise of the Lycans... confused
I think it was the vampires I couldn't take.

I didn't hate it either. I laughed through the parts that were supposed to be serious though. It was like Benicio and Anthony were taking themselves too fucking seriously. lol

The wolfman itself was cheesy, like someone put on a rubber mask.

Benicio definitely had the Lon Chaney face down pat though.

OMG! I just told my sister that in the car! I said the makeup looked like Halloween masks! falloff

Also, what was with the "Incredible Hulk" selective tear-away clothing? confused

I just picked up the Lon Chaney version to watch later. biggrin

It's funny how you see bits of him transforming and at the very end you expect this major "Howling" change and all we get is a man with a hairy face.

Don't get me wrong I liked the old school wolf look but c'mon.

It's funny because Rick Baker did this makeup, too and I was expecting better from him in 2010.

I don't think the Jack Nicholson movie "Wolf" from the 90s has anything to do with the "Wolf Man" movies.

That one was okay. I'd like to see it again, actually.

No, it had nothing to do with Lon Chaney, jr's "Wolfman".
