Where are they now? Kids from 1971 Willy Wonka movie Hope this isn't a duplicate thread. I searched and did not see one.
I saw this today and thought it was cool! http://www.cnn.com/2010/S...index.html A nice article about the original Willy Wonka kids with a picture. I'm firmly planted in denial

Oh, I loved this movie when I was a kid , and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Looks like the kids all have aged well, but they don't resemble how I remember them in the movie.. well, maybe for MikeTeeVee, and what the hell, Augustus Gloop is still wearing Leiderhosen ?

That's Charlie Bucket! i read somewhere that he really doesn't care that he was in the movie, because he's a dedicated horse doctor..

In the audio commentary on the DVD, the director mentions that he purposely filmed it in Germany (Hamburg), since he didn't want people to recognize as some random American city. The city was never named in the film, but different accents were heard, namely British and American, which added to the Fantasy element of it all I guess. [Edited 1/13/10 15:58pm]

One of my favorite movies; gotta love it. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

the film was a major trip, Will forever lives on in my viewings of getting twisted into the other dimension.

That's one of my favorite movies! Too bad Gene Wilder wasn't there to take that photo, lol. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

The 'stache and specs notwithstanding, the guy who played Charlie hasn't changed much in the face. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

It's kind of strange to see these "kids" as adults. Except for the 'stache Charlie looks pretty much the same. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
