There is a caterpillar, the likes of which I've never seen

inside my living quarters.

Yes, I know.. Big fucking deal.

But #1) This is Thailand

#2) It has a small stinger on it's back.

#3) I've never seen anything like it.

I don't want to kill it, but I don't want to handle it either.

Aaaaaand, I'm trying to figure out how it got in my room.

Don't do a thing.

I'll hop right on a plane to Thailand, catch a rickshaw over to your dorm, squash it, and then go back home.

So just stay right there.

I stepped on a rat yesterday. Was walking downstairs to go to the bathroom and just after the last step as I put my foot down at that exact point a rat ran across the floor and I accidentally stepped on it.

This shit totally reminds me of when I was sitting outside watching one of the nightly basketball games here, and a feral cat snook into the bushes beside me. About a split second later 2 bigass rats the size of small chickens leaped out from the bushes, but they must have been so big that they scared the cat away. I thought I'd seen it all that evening, I mean with the flying cockroach and 6 inch long milipede walking by me that night. neutral

How long is it? Is it 3 inches? Does it have a hookah? Did you fall down a rabbit hole, Alice?

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Not as bad as when I came back from Thailand the second time, was sitting at Heathrow airport waiting to get the National Express back to Cheltenham, opened up my backpack to get my waterproof jacket out and a cockroach came scuttling out, disappearing off into the UK for a brand new life. lol

I miss playing basketball. There are no public courts around here and the schools are a bit too far away (and the students I could train with embarrass me with their effortless level of fitness).

no way!!!!! shake

once I went to the WC in the middle of the night without bothering to turn the light on, and I stepped on something cold and squishy and wet disbelief but I didn't bother turning the light on to see what it was.
Next day I saw there was a silvery trail and up on the ceiling was a slug lol I hadn't killed it, on account of my very high arches, but where I'd stepped on it, the trail was substantially wider falloff

It struck me that with the speed a rat can move that it was remarkable that I even stepped on it at all at that very moment I put my foot down and as it was running across the floor. My foot didn't stop it and it kept running but I got a fair bit of weight on it and it squeaked. lol It felt like chicken. nod
